go to the mods folder, then open the ds v0.22.4r+fwwsp-rg folder and check in there is a single folder inside, if there is MOVE the folder to the mods folder harpo the NON-subscriber
personally on downloads first I only use the original site, then during the install I also use a program called unchecky (from http://unchecky.com/ ) that claims to disable the install options for the crapware(and does seem to) Harpo, the NON-subscriber
in the stardock store you will be able to download diplomacy at v1.37, entrenchment at v1.055, vanilla at v1.195 and trinity is at v1.37 (same as the diplomacy). any mod released for the diplomacy/trinity 1.3X patch SHOULD work in trinity/diplomacy 1.37, and it is a full download, there were no seperate patch files, only full downloads (atleast since vanilla sins 1.05) Harpo, the NON-subscriber

jsheeh9427, the .entity files have two modes (txt & bin indicated by the first 3 characters of the file contents), the entity converting tools ALL use the convertdataEXPANSION.exe that comes wiht the game and do NOT change the file extension. if you want to change the file extension then the game DOES NOT READ the file as the game only looks for the .entity files, so any and all changes you make to a .txt would not be seen in the game ontop of all the errors you would see in the d

kona, it sound like you might have 'toolbar hell', I would suggest using the iobit uninstaller and looking through the list for ANY items that have the following words 'tool' 'bar' 'toolbar' 'search protect' ,'ask' then uninstall ALL the items that have those words (I also suggest the deep scan after the standard unistall and select all the found items and delete all of the found items. then go through ALL the browser addons and
