ok the trinity mod path on win10 64 bit is c:\users\(windows user name)\appdata\local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods-Diplomacy v1.37 with the appdata being a hidden/system folder so that you can see or alter it easily, please turn off BOTH the hiders mentioned in my first two replies so that you can navigate down to the sins folder, and put a shortcut to it on the desktop, then you can re hide the system files & folders HarPo the GhOSt NON-subscribing tech

I know this is an IT question, BUT have you turn ON the show hidden folders and files in the control panel folder options? the easy way to get to this is click on start, then settings, then in the box in the top right of the window type hidden, the only option should be 'show hidden files and folders harpo the ghost NON-subscriber tech'
