Haha, looks like someone beat me to it. As promised, I was going to create another Sins video in relation to the new expansion; Rebellion. I tried my best to focus on the actual battlefield and the chaos among the ships as well as the new Titans. Forgive me for not showing Vorastra Titan due to the fact that those clips were not as appealing as I wanted it to be. I do intend on making a different thematic video, focusing more on Titan vs Titan action. @axxo2: I am simply making these

So you have to set the speed of the camera pretty slow in order to use your arrow keys for the panning. Easiest way to set the speed of the camera movement is by zooming into the object ( preferably use a planet as reference to set the panning speed ), close enough to get the relative speed you want. From there, you can use your arrow keys to move at a pace you want to pan. Note: If you zoom in or out, you will lose the spe

So this is my second video of Sins of a Solar Empire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=932MHF4ug6s&hd=1 After 2 years since my first, I've decided to make one again out of complete randomness. I hope you guys enjoyed it. =)
just as the title says i would like to take screenshots with out the hud.... i know there is a cinamatic mode but it still takes the screenshot with the building options and such, is there anyway to just get the ships and space?
Here's your Answer... TO REMOVE THE UI, Press and Hold: Ctrl+Shift+Z There you go. :) That's how you capture full screenshots and videos. Enjoy.
Requiem for a Tower is about the worst music you could have picked, unfortunately. The video is OK, but the low frame rate at times and watermark sorta brought it down.
Lol, thanks for the feedback Carbon, although, I thought I already addressed the issue of the choppiness. Oh wells. And it's Requiem for a Dream to be exact with the music. Could you have chosen a better music for this video if you had the option to then? Cause I don't see what's wrong with the music,

MrFuji = Asain. :) In all seriousness, yes I am Korean, born in the United States. In regards to joining or creating an Asian clan, well, I am just your typical gamer that likes to be independent and not be involved in any guild/clan, in which requires some sort of availability of your time. =\ Anyways, welcome to Sins. I hope you enjoy the game of all its capacity. :) :CONGRAT:

THere is a "destruction" function. Just select a unit/structure/planet and press the very lower middle button to "Scuttle". NOTE: You can not scuttle Multiple units/structures/planets. Also, the Scuttling takes around half a minute to a minute to finally be destroyed and you also received a fractional part of credits/resources.

Well, this was actually my first creation with videos. Used only Windows Movie Maker 2 along with the Divx converter. Long story short, the video came out okay and viewable. :) By viewable, I mean, there are some moments towards the end where clips will get choppy. I apologize for that since my computer bogs down due to huge battles and fraps recording at 5 fps. Anyways, I present you my video: Youtube: <A href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqAjowhfcn

I totally understand what you've been through. Been through it myself. Unfortunately, we can't do much about their behavior or expect some respect from them. As of right now, it's best to wait for the new patch for them to implement the Mute/Ignore feature.

Yet another 5v5 LATE Scheduled game. Unfortunately, we had players that disconnected early on due to their OS issues. We actually had systems to ourselves after the disconnects. Had several HUGE Battles, but was essentially lop-sided. Enjoy the replay. Currently, using 8.1 for my ATI x800. Runs perfectly fine. I do experience momentary crashes, but that only happens when the game goes into a long period of gaming with each player having their fleet capacity maxed out. X_X Lol. I ran Sins after I installed the 8.1 setup. I am not sure about version 7.X I should have tested before installing the 8.1 drivers. Oh wells.

Well, I managed to schedule two games today for Friday, 2/15/2008. The first game, we finally finished, ending with game time of 3 hours and 38 minutes. The second game, well, we experienced our crash and tried to continue from there, but unfortunately, only a few returned and one just wanted to see the end stats. What a douch... Anyways, the games were fun. I was hoping to continue the second game with a bang, since Redemption and I were left to retreat to another system to re-colon

Yet another scheduled 5v5 Random Fun :) game concluded. This time, we actually finished the game itself within a night. Nothing much out of the ordinary. Some instances of early/rush attacks, trying to eliminate the players as soon as possible. Very unfortunate for those that disconnected early on. =\ Date: 2/14/2008 Time Started: 10:50 PM EST Time Ended: 1:48 AM EST Game Time: 2 Hours and 58 Minutes Replay File: [link="http://www.sendspace.com/file/mkytnj"]
Just watched that 5v5 Huge Random Fun Game (2/12/2008) Started 10:50 PM EST. I must say, that last fight was EPIC. I thought for sure that the game was in the bag until I saw how effective those two progenitors were at keeping MrFujiKicker's Kol alive.
I am glad that you enjoy that replay. I couldn't believe myself that my Kol Battleship stayed alive throughout the whole flight. Although, erjee pointed it out correctly, that they didn't send their fleet in cohesion, bu

Finished off another scheduled 5v5 Game earlier today. Took 4 hours to finished. Here's the replay file. The game was okay, the starting positions were a bit off. You'll see what I mean. Also, there were periodic battles here and there. At the two hour and a half mark, it was a 3v1, Evil did fend off us off from the start, until our third teammate can in to reinforce the line. Enjoy! Okay, seems like I will be hosting a new one instead of the continuation from last night. I am going to try and host new 5v5 games every night. :) I'll keep you guys updated on this thread on the progress of 5v5 games. Possibly, post Replays on the games we played. We'll see if we can finish one game for a night. XD

Tomorrow's game will be a continuation from Today's/Yesterday's game. After that game, I will try and host another NEW 5v5 Random Fun :). Same format. It's best to play the game all the way through within one night. But I don't mind doing continuations from day after day, just let us know and we're make a consensus on it. I am contemplating on making another 5v5 schedule which will take place more or less right after the earlier schedule. I will consider it. For th

Actually, culture does fixes those that have Allegiance very low. You simply build those Broadcast centers at Planets that are very low on Allegiance. You will see that the Allegiance will slowly build up. Now, if you don't do anything about setting up broadcast centers, you will slowly lose your planet's allegiance to the opposing players' spreading of culture. Once it hits 0%, it will hit Neutral again.
