Currently i am playing as Terran on insane map size. And i found these issues. 1. I have noticed that my Knight M1 cost durantium. It is a generated ship. Since it cost strategic resource i expected to have a name that starts with Prototype like other ships 2. Specilizations in tech trading. The issue is that specilization specilization is locked on 1 choice. If you specilize in 1 direction you can still trade other Specilization. You can exploit it by going int
bsaksida
You can costumize to certan degree for store front. I unchecked Top seller and group recomendet for you. It fells much better
I got impresion that resources work the same way as it works with iron civilization 5. You have 5 elerium node in a control. You build 1 ship that requires 1 elerium. Then you can build 4 more ships that requires elerium
Personaly i prefered Impulse over steam. After gamestop bought impulse i kinda sotpped using it. After a few days of looking into a steam, i happend to see such ridiculius sales, that i tried it. Now i am using a steam and i like it.
The classic Steam issue. Happens on every preorder. After the relase, it will take sevral hours to synchronize their server before download starts. This issue repeats on almost every preorder. Only expection are games with preload option
I realy hope NVIDIA adds mantle support in drivers. If not, then i would defently buy from AMD, and i would regreted of buying Geforce 660
Yes nitrous will be using those, but the future is in Mantle API. It is going to be multiplatform. One drawbacks is that there won't be any special effect in Mantle API. Only effects will be avaible as engine such as nitrous are going to have. As i have heard, Mantle is going to be API to bridge CPU and GPU. It will be up to engine (nitrous) to handle drawing and effects.
The biggest problem with linux is hardware utilization. Since OpenGL can not utilize GPU to fully. And DirectX is Windows/XBox exclusive. This problem will be resolved when Notrous engine is going to be released. That is one bigest problem linux have with 3d graphics. If there is going to be a game exclusive to SteamOS, then i can just install SteamOS on current PC.
