Calm down man. You are obviously quite frustrated which is a natural response to beating your head against a problem like this but I think you need to walk away for a moment and come back with a clear head. Gabbelgak and wordtaint have already made a valid suggestion that you have overlooked because you were a bit worked up over things. In fact you yourself have even mentioned that pro players would advise you to run away. Running away does not necessarily mean loading up on teleporta

I made a post in the strat forum that I think is relevant to this thread. Here is the link. But to cover it briefly - Of course Sedna is going be weak if she is played weak. A lot of people are stuck in the perception that she is supposed to be played as a healer so forsake her dps abilities then point to the lack of damage as evidence that she sucks. Its quite true that if you don't do damage in Demigod your DG is going to suck because XP

I've played a wide variety of games and tend to be drawn to healer/defensive philosophies. I think its a personality type thing and I do know that there is a certain type of person who prefer reactionary strategies and/or helping out a team and find that much more fun/effective/comfortable. Like a lot of people playing Demigod I used to play WoW. I played a Priest right from release and was heavily involved with raiding up until several months after BC came out - at which point I burn

Yes only Generals have access to Priests and other minions. Its kinda why they are called... Generals. Assassins get plenty of Mcstabface instead. Here are stats on priest heals - the Sedna buff is the increased effect caused by Healing Winds Rank 2 (which is damn tasty). Monk Minion / Priest Reinforcement 200 health to non-demigods.

Fair point Doggiedoodle [e digicons]:)[/e] I feel like it is splitting hairs a little but fair point all the same. I agree calling it cheating is too strong a word - particularily in the scenario number 9 outlined. I like Sedna so I'm speaking from a position of General favouritism - but I still don't like the way this mechanic works. I like the unsummon on different tier summon option that some people have suggested. I maintain my earlier point that I don't want to s
I am now relieved that someone at Stardock is finally admitting that a new approach needs to be taken.
Frogboy has maintained from zero hour and through every delirious sleep deprived hour that followed that people should not have to port forward. This is not a new approach. It may have been suggested as a work around for some of the network issues until they are resolved but it was never intended to be the long

Its an exploit. The minion caps are there for a reason. I don't care if it costs a million gold or if the benefit of the extra minions is debated. It deliberately circumvents a balance mechanic. Even laying that aside it is either worth doing or not worth doing. If its not worth doing then it does not matter. If its worth doing then every General player needs to learn how to juggle idols and all sorts of stupid crap to get 100% out of their DG. If you want your teammat

The game was working just fine in the Beta PossiblyImpossible. I think its extremely unfair to expect Stardock to anticipate unforseen issues and problems that only come to light when a hundred thousand people slam the servers.

Yah I agree with nivina. If your appendix bursts in the middle of an exam clearly you deserve a failing grade even if you come back next week and complete it perfectly. Zero tolerance! Developers should just take it on the chin, chalk several years of development up to experience, forfeit the income on the game and fund the next project with a magic sack on money that flew out of the toilet.

Buy it. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with the game - its awesome. There are some network issues but Stardock are pulling out all the stops to get that fixed ASAP.

I'm starting to get worried about him actually. He said he was going to get some sleep but then somebody asked for a hand and hours later he is still working to fix the network issues... I don't think hes stopped since the game was released [e digicons]8O[/e]
