I have a problem with building new ship at my shipyard. Every time I research a new technology, all the old ship designs that I got rid of by confining them to "obsolete" status pop back up in the build list. Like, as Terrans, Ill have 6 or 7 different Paladin designs and 6-7 different ships of every design. I have to constantly visit the designer tab and re-obsolete them all after every single tech I research. I cant find any way to stop this. Is it a known problem, o

Ship design... importing... one game to the next was a little tough to get used to in GC2.... but it came after a little time. As long as the final product is better then what it is currently! If I save a bare-bones copy of my small-class ship design, it should show instantly in the ship-build possibilities at a shipyard. This kind of thing. This seems an example of over-complicating what was already very user friendly (in GC2). Hopefully they will find a way to streamline this somewhat. That old way.... you finish a tech.... it takes you to the tech screen.... you instantly see what you've done and what's upcoming.... then you can change as you see fit.

Aye, (8) I delete the obsolete ship designs manually (I figured this out around turn 100, but it seems tedious). (6) Durantium... yes I know how to mine it, but those other 'naked' asteroids.... are they useless? (4) What if I don't have a middle mouse button... actually ill look into this. Points taken, but some players like the micro-management. I would suggest putting an option in "game options" to minimize the micro-managing. That way everyone is happy :)

Played the Beta for 250 turns so far... Here are the issues Ive noticed so far... 1) Planets can not be idle and still have the "turn" option. When one of my planets is full of buildings, I have to destroy one and rebuild or I cant get the "next turn" option. Ships I can put on 'sentry' or whatever, shipyards, I can put on 'inactive'. Planets don't have any kind of option that I found. 2)
