I solved mine by upgrading to the latest video drivers... thought they were set to auto update, guess not. Game works now, (if not flawlessly)

But I'm using a geforce 635M

Hey super stoked to get a chance to play the beta today, I'm on windows 8.1 and I can't see any of the text for buttons in game they just show up as blue rectangles. I've been able to kind of stumble my way through but its basically unplayable without knowing what anything I click on does. Cheers!
