So I bought the game and successfuly maneged to open the box without destroying it. And have attempted Metaverse. BUT! when I attempt to make a character, It says that it encountered a problem with my serial number to copy the massage and report to the site. I'm also kinda hoping a moderator or someone will se this and that will count as "reporting it".

This seems like the thread to mention it - is it just me, or are the tanks doing NOTHING? Every time I invade or get invaded, all but one tank gets destroyed, and they don't even shoot - they just... toddle along, waving their silly crane/guns in the air until they blow up. Why aren't they shooting? The tanks shoot missles, but the big things don't do anything! and even today tanks are faster than people so why do they seem slower!?

Idea: Mobile Starbases in Modding GalCiv2 Forums

I think once you reasearch a more powerful drive system such as warp or transw- wait I don't want to be sued, "Hyperwarp" (yeah that's it) but back to topic. You could reasearch this and then build a large Engine System on your shiny new starbase! But keep in mind that it's still no racing ship. It would have to be very slow and expensive. moving about 1 parsec every 2 weeks or someting like that. Tell me what you think.

I hate how Thalan troops look the same as everyone else, they are not humaniod in form but the animationporteays them as being a humanoid life form.

Well, as you can see in my user name, I always use the custom race. I have usually found them superior. Exept in the case of the Yor.
