My point is.. have you turned of all modifications, recoloring, blur, trans, gamma etc etc?
Yes, I have.
Because I clicked on your image to see it
I thought I never got to putting it on my profile... and when I go to look at it, it's nowhere on there.

Hey vStyler, looking at that screenshot, how did you know my website was Electoware.com? It's on one of the minimized windows in the taskbar.

That isn't a "wrong" start button. It's Aero Metal, darkened and with modified color in WB. I made it so it was blue, all in WB. I guess it is *technically* modified, but skins still turn pink sometimes when everything is at the defaults.

I'm sorry. I didn't realize that the bottom of Post 11 was explaining the post after it (I skipped over that paragraph :)). Yes, I was using WB to darken the skin, but I didn't tamper with the skin itself. Also, it happens with any per-pixel skin, no matter if I've changed the color settings in WB, and I've never modified a skin I've downloaded :P. (I've examined them in SKS, though :)).
Electo, is nView turned off? WB doesn't play well with that part of nVidia's software....
I updated my drivers recently, and I went to check if there were more recent versions but there aren't. Oddly, with the new version (169.21), they got rid of nView, so I got confused when I went to look for the configuration settings.
Nuage is an Essorant skin, Tooltips have nothing to do with WB other than the color of them.
I understand.
Is WindowBlinds bound to a particular graphics card?
I believe it isn't. However, that doesn't mean that all graphics cards work perfectly (obviously there's something wrong here). So Stardock might be working on improving support for graphics cards that don't work perfectly yet. It's hard to support all cards because new technology is always coming out, but posting bugs (like this) always helps to improve that.

Yeah, thinking about it, #2 seems more like a bug strictly in WindowBlinds (unless Stardock intended that effect), but #1 and #3 could be problems with graphics card compatibility. Actually, when I look closer, the "translucency" of the start menu seems actually to be WB taking a screenshot of whatever is behind the menu and drawing the start menu image on top of that. I figured this because a CursorFX cursor that has a hotspot somewhere in the middle of the image instead of the top-lef

Sorry if this is not the right place to post bugs, but I found several annoyances that I thought should be brought to attention. I don't believe it's my graphics card, since WindowBlinds says that it is supported. Sorry if I sound picky :). 1. Magic pink borders This is probably the worst bug. This only occurs when I have a skin with per-pixel titlebars (which are the ones I use most often). When I drag the window around the screen, the borde

I might have just fixed my own problem, but I'm not definite. I just completely uninstalled and reinstalled WindowBlinds, and it seems that the problem isn't there anymore. Hopefully this method (though tedious :D) will work for you guys, Jonep and RayAdams.

I am also having the same problem, although I have XP x86, not 64. However, the black menus sometimes occur on other skins as well (I believe it usually happens with skins that have per-pixel or translucent menus). I only noticed it recently after I downloaded an update through SDC. Before then, I never noticed the problem. It also occurs at random - even if I reapply the skin or reboot the computer, the problem sometimes still remains. My system info is below: WindowB
Trying to script something causes more problems than it solves.
Well, you can't really do anything complex without scripts... I don't quite agree :D. Thanks for the tips, guys. Electo

sViz: I am using the same image for each state. Quentin94: I tried changing the X and Y offsets as Tiggz said, but nothing different happened. However, using the transparent parent worked well, although it doesn't seem to be the most efficient method. :) Also, it seems that setting the Z-Order of my entire group to Desktop Level keeps the object from moving, but I want to be able to access the object over top of other windows. The reason that the object started to do this "ran
You need to groups objects with true relations
I don't understand. If you're saying that I have to make my object a child of another object, I can't because its container has to be the desktop, not another object. Maybe I should explain my desktop. I have an object that, after clicking a button, slides out across t

I have an object that I want to have a drop shadow only in certain states. I've got it so the drop shadow isn't visible when the mouse is away and visible when it hovers over the object, but the object always shifts down and to the right in the mouse over state. The larger the "Sharpness" value in the mouse over state, the more the object shifts. My DXTheme was working fine without this problem until it just randomly started while I was working on it. Any help would be appreci
Have you tried any of the skins that come with the RightClick program ? They should work fine - or go to RC gallery and download some of the pre-made skins ( unzip to the RightClick skin folder. See if those skins work ok first...most of the problems have been with the importing from windowblinds. There isnt an XP version or a Vista version. They are trying to make one version suitable for all. Im not sure if the vista version has no problems at this point. [/quot

Oh, sorry. I do use Windows XP. So I guess that would be the problem then. I bought ObjectDesktop just several days ago, so I didn't get to buy the XP compatible version. That's pretty disappointing... So you suggest just making a new RightClick skin to correspond my WindowBlinds skins, instead of using the built-in function that doesn't quite work in XP? Thanks for the advice, Electo

Hello, I loaded RightClick, but for some reason the RightClick window interface and the right-click menus themselves look quite odd. The text is cut off half-way in the interface. Also, in the right-click menus, if I choose to use the current WindowBlinds skin, the font seems to be the "System" font instead of the font that was specified in the skin. The icons and the text don't seem to be aligned correctly to the skin. This makes the menu look very scrappy... take a look: [img

Sorry that I never got back to reply... but I did eventually get it to work. However, I'm not exactly content with the method that took to do it, since I might not be able to do it again after a reformat or a disk crash :NOTSURE:. I just chose that I would enter my information later and sort of ignored the messages that it gave me. It then loaded the main application window and seemed to be able to connect from then on. I have no idea why it wouldn't have worked at first becau

Looking at that article, it seems like that person had already installed and run SDC before. This is the first time I've run SDC. I also don't have any firewalls on my computer, and that is what kept that guy's connection from working. Any other suggestions? Thanks, Electo

After extensive searching on the Internet, I still have not found out why Stardock Central gives me "Connection Error 1001." I just purchased ObjectDesktop today. This is the first time I have run SDC after installing it. I entered my Stardock.net account information into the form and clicked "Next," but then I got Connection Error 1001. I don't have any firewall programs that would interfere with SDC (I have Norton AntiVirus and some Norton Internet Worm and Spyware Protection, but I h
