Boy I'm glad someone can be coherent about this [e digicons]:\[/e] I get so pissed off everytime I read something more about our country crumbling, I can barely do more than splutter and wave my hands around before giving up even attempting to take a bite of this elephant [e digicons]-_-[/e] I hope the "too-big-to-fail" fairy tale isn't tested by our country. Hope all is well...not always very vocal anymore, bu

[e digicons]B)[/e] Handsome pic Mr. Stone. Very sorry to hear about your brother...but very glad you've shared and had such wonderful memories of him. Hugs and love my friend.
Kind of like the dehumanizing and isolating effects all of our technology is having on us now? I wonder if the angels just provide a buffer that allow us to withstand the memories.
Safe travels. Give me a call on a Sunday when you and Charlie have some time...Em and I are home all day
well with you and all yours. Happy Thanksgiving Mr. Stone! Love ya
Hi! Long time, no comments...but always reading and thinking about ya [e digicons]:sun:[/e] I love this story, I think it's the first time I remember reading so much about your mom. The Chief, well he's already a picture in my head. Thanks for starting one for your Mom. Sounds like she was an amazing woman...all the more so now that I know exactly how tough of a job Mom is. Hope all is
I love this post and I bet your family will too. Reading your memories of your Dad and your memories of being a child are wonderful and so often lost. I'm glad your writing them down and lucky that I get to share them too. Love ya
Congratulations! You have every right to be loud and proud grandparents. Hope you all have a great weekend [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Wow!!! You should have warned me there'd be car porn this early in the morning [e digicons]:)[/e] I've been to that grocery store parking lot a few times myself...didn't know they'd left tho. There aren't too many better ways to spend a soft warm summer night than soaking up exhaust fumes, feelin the asphalt rumble with that throaty big-block growl, and admiring all the beautiful lines of colors of those muscle cars. Thanks
Glad to hear you're doing better :-) You'll have to forward me your Blogster address...I don't have it and part of the reason I don't comment often is because I don't take the tiime to sign in to JU. BTW-as uncomfortable as it may be for you, most of the other blogs I read are personal, it provides a current connection. Love all your stories and hope to see you soon!
Thanks for the Monday-morning giggle!
Thanks BFD, I think I'm gonna leave the blogging to you for a while longer...maybe next year's resolution. I too look forward to seeing you as soon as you get a chance [e digicons][/e]
Was just having a conversation yesterday about the lack of just plain courtesy anymore. And as much as I'd like to say otherwise I find that I have to remind myself that I don't know anyone else's story. I have to stop myself from always assuming that he/she is just an ass. Maybe his dog ran away and he's worried about finding it or maybe her employer just announced more layoffs and she's concerned for her family's financial well-being. Unfortunately I d
I don't know how you managed to not go on a huge rant with this article. Between the proposed "National Day of Service", the mosque at the WTC site, and the utter hypocrisy of condemning burning the Koran while our United States flag is shown being burned world-wide, my "mad-on" is just being fueled. It's infuriating t
Ohhh, that's no bueno [e digicons];P[/e] I hope everything's workin out with it and Charlie and all are doing well. I look forward to your re-emergence...you'll be like a butterfly emerging from it's cocoon [e digicons]:karma:[/e] Take care and I'll talk to ya soon. (((HUGS)))
Well there's my new thing for the morning....while I've always noticed them as they do look so peculiar when they fly I always thought they were Sandhill Cranes. Matter-of-fact we saw them last weekend when we dumped some yard debris at RAPCO. Hope all is well. Since I can't seem to remember to call, at least know that I'm reading and thinkin about ya. [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
My guess is you've passed on your voice to your kids' heads.
Duude, I think your boot reminiscing must have caught the ears of the winter weather gods [e digicons]:snowman:[/e] Glad your feet are stayin warm and I hope the rest of you is too [e digicons]:sheep:[/e] Talk to ya soon
Niiice = any story that has you using the term "chick"...I'll be smiling for the rest of the week thinkin' about this one. :0
Yeah, being in those little planes is like being inside of a manic-depressive. They're so light and maneuverable that of course you can glide them to a safe landing if there's trouble. And they're so light and maneurverable that of course you're going to be flattened like a bug on a windshield when you run into a good stiff cross-wind. ;-o
I guess I never received the memo stating that cruelty and/or inhumane treatment or beating of animals was excused if you lived on a farm. Do you think maybe it was sent along with the same memo stating that if someone lived in a prison or a concentration camp or ha
You should have shot James. ...and that's all I have to say about that.
See now I was going to tell you about how (a very long time ago) my friends and I used to come down Ute Pass...we'd try and do it without braking. The rule was you had to be on the gas until the first curve and then you could coast, but you weren't supposed to touch the brakes or downshift. But now I'm not going to tell that story because your last four words took the wind out of my sails...we are all very lucky that we didn't end up like the German driver.
Wellllllll, they're also good for people with lead feet/foots??? The mpg just goes down...................... a lot ;)
Aaaah, a subject where I’ve got too much experience. Did I ever tell you about the time I thought it would be an interesting experiment to cross my feet and operate the clutch with my right foot and the gas and brake with my left foot??? The conclusion was that I was a stupid teenager who still can’t always tell her right from her left. Thankfully most of the stupidity has cleared up since then :d I’m glad to hear Fred is doing okay and is having some luck finding a replacement car
