Thanks!

Late game, I created a low cost constructor vessel with two constructor modules. When I use the cheap constructor ships to build an initial starbase, the extra module is lost. My expectation was that the ship would build a starbase, then have one module available for building the initial starbase ring.
I also have encountered this issue. It would be neat if they became pirates.
I ran into a case where the Ideology screen would not allow me to exit. Here are the circumstances: Benevolent: The root of the tree had been unlocked Benevolent points = 30 The next items cost 29 Pragmatism No items unlocked Pragmatism points = 20 Malevolent The root of the tree had been unlocked Malevolent points = 22 The unl
I've been playing on "normal" settings, but just started my 16th game on "gifted".
I just noticed that Stardock posted the same question on Facebook. Respond there too! So far, I've played 15 games with the largest galaxy setting. The time to finish a game is between 8 to 11 hours.
Today, at least according to Steam, I have played CGIII for over 100 hours. My cost per play is now less than $1.00 per hour. How many hours have you logged so far?
Toxidyne.
I also agree that the tech ages should be removed.
It would be nice to have some form of armada / fleet formation movement. For example, if have six ships/fleets arranged in a circle (e.g., all six hexes surrounding a center hex), it would be nice to select all six ships in their formation and instruct them to move to a new location. This would be preferable over command each ship individually. One could select the formation by using normal drag and select mouse commands. This capability could be unlocked during ag
This game is a devious ploy to make us solve algebra problems. Will one of the add-ons encourage us to use calculus? (in the complex plane? You collect 2i * pi * k for every black hole within this circuit, for each lap you complete) A closed-form expression for Ideology costs at tier k involves a summation ...
That's OK as long as we don't have to calculate the residues of
I'd like to see stronger content associated with terraforming. Not only would I like to convert Mars to a paradise, I would also like to convert Jupiter to a thriving planet of cloud-cities. Rather than just being able to improve a hex, it would be neat to have tech that enables comet capture in order to provide water to a barren world. Thoughts?
All of my large galaxy games (about 10 so far) have crashed between turns 150 and 400. These have been reported to support along with save files and dumps.
No problem. Ticket ID: GCL-426-32298
I've played multiple games where it simply crashes (already reported and received a ticket). My non-empirical observations seem to indicate a large number of crashes occur when ships form a fleet or merge/dock with starbases. My empirical observation is the debug.err file shows that the stack trace is generated after fleet formation. Debug Message: Fleet Created. [PlayerID 0] [FleetID 3108] Debug Message: EjectShipFromSt
Interestingly, I was just about to post a similar thread this morning when I found the post already here! I find the "ages" to be too limiting. If I want to follow a bee-line, that should be my prerogative and my risk. Play balance for such strategies should not be an artificial restriction. Rather, play balance should be factors into the actual play. I vote against the "ages".
I have also encountered this issue. If I save the game, the ships do damage again, but the issue still crops up later.
I opened a ticket for my crashes and have sent the zip file successfully. All of my crashes so far have been in large galaxies and between turns 200 to 400. My guess is that there is a memory leak or errant pointers floating around somewhere.
Interestingly, I ran into the use of the resource during the game I played last night. Still, there did not seem to be much difference between a default gunboat with durantium and a default dunbout without durantium (other than more expensive with durantium). Perhaps I have yet to get deep enough into the tech tree to see the difference?
What do all the resources do?
This is a screen shot showing the "thick slash" of a path "tick" across the screen Well, I tried.
Here are several issues that cropped up in the late game (about turn 435 or so) with large galaxies. These issues came up with two different single player games. The first game I played Terran with a single, Drengi AI opponent. The second game I played Drengi with three AI opponents. Both large galaxies 1. Ships no longer deal damage Both my ships and the enemy ships would not long
