As I have played through some games I get some very powerful fleets as they level. If you up grade a ship I assume it goes back to level one. If it does, why? Realistically if you are upgrading to better weapons, defenses, drives, etc., You still would have the same crew manning them. Even if you want to say that they don't know the systems, they still know that tactics. I could see even taking a percentage loss on the level the crew has achieved, even as much as 50%. I design and rework many races and have found that if I use the following dimensions every thing works out well. FG - 1920x1080 BG - 1920x1080 portrait - 250x250 logo - 128x128 people use other sizes, but I have never had a problem with these. [e digicons]:grin:[/e]

Thanks Gauntlet, I am not using the Star Trek mod, just a mod off of Nexus for the minor races. It's not that they clash, it's just that I want them as my only minor races. I use your major races and about 60 others (mine and others from the workshop), but not GRM-A (personal choice, caused some difficulty for me awhile back). Hey Gauntlet, is there any way to opt out of using your minor races while still using your mod? I am wanting to try a game that uses the mod that puts the Star Trek minor races in in place of the originals.
