Trust me Its better this way because in mid to late game we'll have raid groups and armies 1000+ strong if it did individual rolls your system would likely lag to hell when you told them to attack. *Even if the max size was 100+ it'd still be much slower and it'd instant kill champions* because individual rolls would have more chances for criticals etc. it'd be unfair against single units unless we gave later level mass buffs to champions etc. so as you can see it compl

I've asked these sort of questions before mostly because i have 1-2 friends whom want to play with me but are often on the fence. My friend whom lives only afew minutes away from me would like to be able to play sins with me he doesn't want to buy it yet because he hasn't played it. So would it be alright if i was to allow him to download a copy off of my stardock account with the only purpose being to try it out with me for 1-2 games? I ask becau
And? Its funny and if spanish speaks want to play a game made in english and with fictional character names and are somehow upset then thats ridiculous. If its just a joke *and i know it is* then thats fine people will likely mention the game more and best yet it gives everyone something to laugh at and as far as i know stardock is a cool enough company to not mind that infact i bet they enjoy providing abit of extra entertainment lol.
I am all for creating monsters with essence/modifying them as well as artifacts structures and land dominance. And as for gaining essence sacrificing champions and killing enemy sovs as well as artifacts legendary creatures technology and finally through special quests would all be awesome.
The music is actually quite good. and i think the galciv2 music you refer to is a modified varient of one of the menu songs.
I actually do believe this game could Be one of the next big series. If they keep up the level of quality one day years from now we'll be in the beta for elemental 3-4. And if the publishing company gets decent sales and continues to publish elemental books...well it may end up as a large title and while not able to compete with something like say the 'forgotten realms' it'll be able to compete with civilization and age of wonders etc. as the best
in my experience something akin to 8-12 tiles/hexs.
[quote who="Stmorpheus" reply="14" id="2685555"]i really like the AP system. its a tried and true system that has the ability to be deep. it just has to be balanced. for instance alot of people concerns here can be addressed by balancing example people are worried that archers will be able to shoot alot. well pulling back a bow and taking aim takes alot longer than swinging a sword. so you would have an AP penalty on the archers FOR ATTACK. the g
Thats it Three Points to make. One Pacing is an Option and a scale their adding in so be happy with that. Two 'Turns' in total war are very long things you know they take alot of time in a single turn. Three do you know how many turns you can pass in this game in single player fairly quickly? In 2 hours i was up to turn 1870+ Thats alot of time So In reality its not all that slow its just the raw numbers that APPEAR slow. I like it the way it is and afte
Would be abit better then current system. and allow interesting wields and soldiers with duel weapons would be interesting.
Seriously thanks dev team for all your hard work I love the game thus far. Hopefully we can all get some more testing done for ya.
I hope they improve the GUI and UI yes.
Personally it looks like its shapeing up wonderfully.
Just wanted to state something about the DRM that E.A and Ubisoft use. It is catching on alot of companies are trying to use it. Unfortunately this backfired on them cause all of the torrenting sites and pirates have cracks so they can play without hassle whereas poorsaps like me whom bought the game legit *like settlers 7* have to deal with ridiculous protection systems. combine that with the even more extreme security system that E.A is discussi
Well for one they intend to have ALOT more troops meaning that later on we'll be able to have thousands of soldiers so..your summons would be swamped by immense numbers. *Just stating that as it is the ultimate counterbalance between the two* and the dragon and master quest i'm sure they will balance the dragon is intended to be uber powerful but much harder to get ahold of. and finally I'm pretty sure they intend to make all research as indepth a
Have a good nights sleep all the dev team you all deserve it,.
Still waiting *is falling asleep at desk and slapping self* seriously I'm waiting till its done!.
I was just messing around thought maybe we could get some paranoia stirred up for comedy.
Maybe stardock is mentally testing us to see how long we'll wait before we crack and go crazy.... Frogboy are you just F***ing with us? lol
Damn i'm waiting here i believe i may be going insane *begins to bash head against desk waiting for beta* lol
*Is waiting patiently...* I'm actually checking the forum and impulse every 5-10 mins for updates...i guess i'm not that patient lol.
Just so people realise what they mean by no updater is like when E.A DOWNLOADER HAS TO BE ON TO PLAY E.A GAMES! sorry but i had to stress that point. I tried to play Assassins creed 2 online for example and ubisoft had that same kind of system i had to be running their program same thing with settlers 7 as well it irritated me because it constantly checked my online and i couldn't use trainers or cheatengine etc. all kinds of ridiculous things whe
Lol i agree i like having interesting terrain I would also love spells that alter your 'domain' like age of wonders to terraform the terrain into Fire Water/Ice Wind Earth *earth being one of several terrain types from hills/mountains to plains and crags* to finally life and death death being a wasteland between you and your enemies and life giving you many bonuses for having so much life but the weakness being many more monsters etc. You could balance it quite well and
All i will say is i look forward to possibly Item forging maybe an expansion of the economic system or perhaps just some more indepth rpgish features *exploring ruins etc.* and of course even more mod functions/tools somehow would be great as everytime theirs a game that expands on modding with its expansions it just gets better everytime just seems to be that way.
I like both ideas but particularly the city idea. Although it may be to late to implement Hopefully frogboy notices and decides to put it in. Edit. Thank you for contributing with such ideas though even if they don't make it its good to see someone trying. *Not saying that others don't try mearly complementing this individual for doing so.*
