Now this thread can be used for all sorts of conversation on the matters of the title. But I just want to address one issue. While yes the small army sizes in the late game doesn't make quite as much sense. To be honest they make Alot of sense in the early game. And I have seen posts stating that you cannot support 'industries' with only 20-50 people. Which is to be blunt abit Stupid. A Farm can be small and then expanded and grown from 20-50 workers to hundreds. that i

Actually. This game was always marketed in the very beginning when i preordered it last year as guess what. Post Apocolyptic. No one thinks that theirs going to be 'EPIC' empires after that. even 100 years isn't enough to have a large population..And if you have 1-2 guys with sticks you must not be very good. My last game i had to fight at least 100 men just to get to the enemy city and i had a good 20 men with me. </p

I like the depth we get with limited troops. Not to say i don't want to see a massive army...nonetheless most people can't handle all of the computations and graphics now. In the beta's performance was hell. Now it's abit better but nonetheless It was a design decision to both give depth and feel. And You aren't an 'Epic Empire' with hundreds of years of growth and conquest...The fallen and the Humans are just afew survivors of a disaster of such power that it shattered

One thing is. In the Decent pirating communities *I know thats hard to imagine* where the professional crackers are. Indie games or Small companies like Stardock don't get pirated. and when they do they often stress to buy it if you like it. Infact I've seen pirating work in Stardocks favor from 1-2 of my friends they pirated sins of a solar empire and ended up buying it. as well as a copy of galciv 2. I pirated Red faction Guerrilla and company of heroes. Its how i dec

There is no DRM but you Have to activate it the First time it runs. Its there way of protecting from retailers breaking their street date. Sorry guys. And impulse is NOT required to run it nor is anything else it just has to connect one time to activate is all. Afterwards internet is never required.

Simply put all i have to say about bugs is this. I've gotten about 12 games in the last few monthes..I know quite acouple mostly a year old+ though and for a deal. Out of those 3 wouldn't play due to bugs with the openings interface etc. 4 wouldn't alttab correctly. 3 more had graphical issues despite me having a brand new video card and 4 gigs of ram they still had slow downs and problems...and finally 2 played right. Elemental Pla

You can install it on as many systems as you own. Also Actually While i don't know the rule particular to elemental i know for sins of a solar empire your allowed to have a friend play with you online if its for the intent of YOU playing together not piracy.

I actually like the idea of a digital edition. Not an unfair advantage or special items etc. but just having a digital copy of book and map sound track etc. would be nice.

I would also like to thank Frogboy and the Mod team for their wonderful work. Although i feel afew things should have been done differently overall they have truly listened to the community and taken alot of our idea's. It was a good experience being a beta for this game.

Never. Steam F***s people out of money has the worst technical support won't fix games or make sure their compatibile *even if they say they are* are utter a**holes to everyone and worse yet their direct competitors of Impulse if they sold this game on there it'd only damage its reputation. *by that i mean all the frustration of steamusers and the problems associated with modding etc* Plus it violates the 'gamers bill of rights' because steam must run in order to run their games there

Armor needs to be done right. I actually do want all of the armors listed by gorstagg simply because it matchs the fantasy feel And gives us customization. Throw in magical enchantment and we got ourselves good armor. Also i am in favor of slainangel52's stat system. Combine the two and we're good to go. My only bit to throw in is that heavier armor should provide a moral boost. The Average peasant/soldier will always feel safer and stronger when their wearing p

Actually it will have single player with adjustable options not to worry. Also i understand where your coming from i hate the newer games like cnc4 but luckily this game is one that like the old days we can play for days even weeks saving loading etc. at a slower pace level and having a good challenge.

Well its like this in early game There is No one and No infrastructure therefore 'armies' are impossible thats why theirs only single units. The sovereign is practically a demi god at this point in time as he has raw power and no one else does. Champions too. Now later on in game their gear has to become very good if they want to compete with the infantry. My simple prosposel is to add in some champion and sovereign only armor and weapons *armor and weapons that are mag
