Okay, having found the "show all parts" option, I can see the base pirate ships in the hulls. However, I cannot see the little "blank sockets" that they have for the other races so you can start with a blank sheet and not have to build from a pre-existing design. Also, in the parts section I only see "terran" designs for parts as well as the lone pirate skull, regardless of what type of base ship I choose. I'm not sure if that's by design as I only have "Pirate" chosen for my race&#39

I use a custom race with the Pirate Ship Style mostly because I like the big skulls I can put on things. I recently tried to play again after a time away and started a new game, but when I go into the designer, there's no parts or hulls or anything with which I can build a ship.
