Ok.....Here is a question to be answered. What if developers put in weather widgets, but have them disabled by default? One could download the theme or widget, enable the script on their own and add the proper link to weather.com or whoever. By doing so, no developer or Wincustomize or Stardock would be in violation of any terms. It would be up to the end user to add the proper lines to the script to get it to work (Thus they could get a license from TWC or whoever for their o

What I see here is all the carrying on over usage of The Weather Channel's info. We are going on so much about how it can be used or not used that people have gotten tunnel vision (I do see a little of trying to get a solution). Instead of trying to figure out or fight the TWC system, there has to be a way to grab an alternative. Like one party stated, use the NWS METAR data. I know this leaves the international users out. I changed up again. I usually will change Window Blinds and Object Dock, but until I can get a Desktop X theme that does for me what WeatherBound's Dark Vista does for me, I'll keep using it. OD theme at bottom is GreeNeon Nebula by Sc4rfy. Window Blinds Theme is Waterwalk by TomRichter. The Clock is Weather Clock by RespectSoft. For myself, I got hold of a Linux based Password Reset File that works for Vista, XP, and 2000. You can get a CD version or a floppy version. Just go to scroogle.org and search for "XP Password Reset" "Linux". It should come up. I use it all the time to reset passwords that people forgot on Windows.
