I had a problem with the start menu on this. The "open iris" "all programs" was messed up. My problem was that I had the font overide set under the Advanced Settings. I switched it to "leave skin fonts alone" and it was fixed.

When I purchased Windowblinds I was asked to cross-reference my Stardock info with my Wincustomize info. Is this different than having an actual subscription? If so, what is the difference? I'm sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but I'm a little confused.

I think they need to be more concerned about the technical issue plauging the site, before even worrying about what the site looks like.
I think people should comment on skins. Everyone likes a pat on the back for a job well done. Also, constructive criticism helps the skinner improve his art. There are alot of people in the WC community who may not have the talent to do skinning(like myself), but often times may have ideas on how to improve a skin or a concept that they can pass along to someone who has the talent and skill. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/BigSmile.gif"

I'm looking forward to this release. I've been using the shareware version of desktopx 2 for a while and have been debating whether or not to shell 24.95 for it. But When version 3 comes out, I think it will be worth it.
