Orion, You did a great job explaining that! However, I do actually have all XP systems set up with a 'Rob' account and still can't access the other machines after a reboot without running the wizard first. Now, I went into the Admin account and set it up as well on my laptop earlier today and it seems to have fixed it as I rebooted the laptop and could access it from my other systems. The problem I think is that I had just set it up on my 'Rob'. Thanks again for the help!

one other thing to consider (and something that the rep you spoke to at your credit card company may NOT have thought of) is that a lot of Credit Card companies require you to call in to activate the card (which Russ already mentioned above) AND they also require a purchase to be made at a retail store to fully activate it. misterME, since you're doing car audio work now I trust there'll be some use of actuators inside your new desk??? motorized keyboard tray? etc.. Where is it you're located? I'm always on the lookout for a good audio guy for my car for the more complex issues involved with it. (I'm capable of doing MOST projects by myself but there are certain things I'd leave to the pros - such as motorized amp racks below an enclosure or possibly alternate batteries and other major electrical upgrades.

Yep, I just installed it and ran it. It didn't find the wincusto icon so I deleted the bookmark, logged out of here, re-accessed site, bookmarked it and there it was. Apparently it'll only do it from the default layout for some reason...

I've been running build 2481 for about three weeks now and haven't had to reboot once. (That's on a brand new Dell Inspiron 4000) I love it. I did have a little bit of trouble with WindowBlinds but then I realized it was my stupidity that was prohibiting the operation. (Although I don't think I've figured out how to exclude programs yet) I just downloaded RC1 from conxion this morning and haven't had a chance to burn it out yet and install it but will be doing so this weekend.

I have to agree with a few of you above that a mouse is definitely the way to go WHEN you can use one. Whenever I'm using the laptop on a table-like surface a mouse gets plugged in. Okay all you laptop owners out there, I've got a question for you. Which do you prefer using, a touchpad or the eraser-tip pointer? My old laptop had a touchpad and got somewhat used to it. However my new laptop, a Dell Inspiron 4000, has both the touchpad and eraser-tip. whoa! Jafo, you paid $105USD for 512MB? what type? I just picked up 512MB of PC133 (generic - nonbrand name stuff - at least I've never heard of it - but it works fine in my Dell) for $140CDN. That means that it actually was cheaper for me! Could this be true? Something cheaper in Canada than in the U.S.??? Wow...
