from your numbers it looks to be really simple M/P=A ive just done the first half of the list and with rounding they all seem to add up or am i misunderstanding your question?
Normal is the best setting. I may try a new game after 1.1 with two agressors at gifted, Drengin and say the Angry Army with the rest at normal. I dont know how badly this would affect the balance of power with the other civs. Oh and yes this is a known bug and will be fixed this week.
i diddn't see anything in the patch notes about this
how about the 5k rollover and play dead bug?
the problem is you're forgetting the economy slider (it's the brightly coloured circle in the govern button on the colony screen) the default for this is split 33/33/33 setting it to a focus pretty much triples your specialized planets output right out of the gate then you apply all your bonus's if ive specialized a planet with Manufacturing buildings my economy slider is 100/0/0 (M/W/R) and it doesn't matter how many research labs or how much population i have o
i got 15 with a custom race using the yor tree... at least i think it was 15 i might have to double check
i was playing my big game im about 300 turns in and kicking the krynns ...(do they have asses?) on the second highest difficulty they're the only race giving me even a remote run for my money when all of a sudden they say something to the effect of ....hey buddy this wars gone on long enough lets make peace? anyway i said sure and after a turn began to wonder why i mean i had just built a couple of my latest warship and while it was immensely more powerful then anything i had ever
Quoting androshalforc, reply 4 does this also mean if i potentially produce enough RP to earn say 3 techs in one turn i would get 3? I suppose, we have never seen that happen. Its more likely to be from an ideological unlock that gi
Yeah it was listed in one of the recent patch notes ( cant remember if it was like .8x or 1.0) but they stated that research was fixed so that if you had excess it counted properly i asked if we could theN research 2 or more techs per turn and the answer was yes but they hadnt seen it
the update design button only works if you have at least two ships in your current build cue Further using the update design button cancel's auto repeat if it is on
And then you say that most people play tinny/small maps ive been playing since alpha and i dont think ive finished a game yet just because of updates
Its intended upgrading a ship makes it defenseless during the upgrade process usually 1-2 turns Its kind of like taking your computer apart and complaining it wont turn on
It seems that the captains cant tell the difference between a misse and a multibillion doller missile launcher " ehh they will blow up if we hit them with either"
As is designed there will never be true simultanus turns in order to avoid clickfests. Ie the person who clicks fastest gets the prize
2) are you playing as the terrans ? Double clicking usually places the building on a (random?) tile . However the terrans ( i believe) have an ability where their first improvement is free ( rushed)
If you mouse over any of the ideology options it should tell you how much it costs if you mose over the top bar " malevolent" it should tell you how many points you have
I know someone had found some mods the only thing i would suggest is small starting at 2 instead of 1.5 since that will get rounded anyway and then bump the others up one at the same time look at the resilliant trait and change that from a multiplier to a flat bonus of +1,+2 or something
probobly an oversight ships heal at 1 pt per turn so 25% boost would be 1.25 rounded to 1
Whos to say kona isint female or haradron gaull ( i probobly spelt that wrong). Or n-1 ?well ok i think the yor are genderless
it has been reported that when you reach more then 5k it rolls over to 0 and while it doesent effect the player that much this value is how the ai knows who to attack if there power is showing 0 then they wi either be building military when they dont need to or surrendering when thy are superior
One of the i races starts with two planets if the iconians start with 1 planet it must be the iridium anyway once you get the last level of terraforming that planet is pretty much a solid blob of adjacency bonus's
an update to this post you have fixed the lifesupport optimization and changed it to LogisticalOptimization1 LogisticalOptimization 4 LogisticalOptimization3 this is still broken that 4 needs to be a 2
just saw steam say it was released i can play the campaign was this intentional its an hour early?
as long as this is limited to first turn im not horribly put out by this its annoying but its not game breaking (although how bad will it get at 100 races (game just released its an hour early) i wonder if this has something to do with fog of war? before i rebuilt my machine it would stutter whenever i tried to explore im moving along fine now but i wonder if all those ai trying to see all their immediate space at the same time is taxing the system too much
ok third map same settings as above except i removed minors and pirates forgot to time map generation 0:42 my turn 7:48 ais turn 0:20 my turn 0:14 ais turn i screwed up my timings because i had a colonize event and idle ships when i hit turn ( this should really be changed to "move ships" rather then "turn")
tested once 7:28 - first ai turn 0:36 - my second turn 0:23 - second ai turn trying a new game with more timing insane -size 53 opponents + abundant minors + abundant pirates challenging - difficulty all victory conditions 0:29 map generation ---- this is fast 0:57 my first turn 7:56 ai's first turn---- is
