I get the same with 64 bit. I'm sure there will be a supported version in the future.
Works for me in Windows 7. Took me a little while cos I didn't follow the instructions exactly - I tried to install Deskcapes first then the patch, but needs to be the other way around.
I'm currently using the old version, and while good it does have it's limitations. With the improvements detailed above I would defintely purchas the new one as long as the price isn't too steep. Cheers Rowan

This is excellent. One request though would be that it include video files (avi, mpg), as well as .dream. Is that possible? I have just spent an hour searching the web for an app that will automatically change my video wallpapers, and this is the closest I have found. Cheers Rowan
Goodnight Earth is still my favourite dream, and to have it in higher resolution would be great. I don't care if it's 200mb - I would download it...

Are you using the Vista Codec pack? I found changing a couple of the decoder settings sorted it for me...
Perhaps a project for someone who is good at this kind of thing - not me I'm afraid! In XP I had a small utility which automatically changed wallpapers - you could specify things such as change wallpaper every day or every logon or every hour, and whether the wallpaper should be chosen at randon from a specified location or loop though all available wallpapers. <

Fixed the problem - for some reason I needed to reinstall Vista Codec pack on my wife's user account. Strange!

Maybe, but it's also a problem with v1.01 - the same files (I have tried several .dream files) were fine with version 1.00

I have an 8800 GTS card and am using the same driver (the latest beta driver is useless!), and DO NOT have this problem (only problem I have with dreamscene is with multiple user accounts on deskcapes 1.01). I am running Athlon 5000+ with 2gb RAM, single monitor 1280 x 1024. Perhaps it's a problem with dual displays? Rowan

Hi, How do I report a bug with the latest version of DeskCapes? I have been using the previous version of DeskCapes for a while with no problems, but since I installed 1.01 there is a problem. My wife and I have separate user accounts set up (both as administrator), and are using Vista Ultimate RTM. I installed v1.01 on my account, and all works fine, including the new triggers etc. However, my wife can no longer have files in .dream format as her desktop - the following error
