" In order to get the desktop background color (which is what I think you are referring to) to "stick," you need to change the setting for that color in the skin itself. There is a section in the skin's control file that lets the skinner change the color settings so that unskinned windows & apps like MSOffice at least have the same/similar color scheme. The easiest way to do this is to download SkinStudio from Stardock (it's free), open the skin you want to use in SkinStudio, go to the

'Ello I just switched from a 17" CRT, to a 20" Widescreen LCD...so I had to change my wallpaper, my resolution is 1680x1050 the wallpaper I'm using is less than that, so it leaves the gaps in-between, no problem. Though, every time I change my background color to be black if I log off(reboot, shutdown) it switches to a light blue. Can't find the control to tell WinBlinds to stop. Any ideas please?
