Not sure if it is the same as #25, but I found that when the AI send a freighter to me it takes one of my trade routes away. Example, I have 1 trade route available, I send a freighter to another planet. while it is on the way, another AI lands a freighter on one of my worlds. When my freighter arrives, I get the error that i have no more trade routes available. I have a save game file available if needed to support a trouble ticket.

I had the same issue yesterday in a game. I had culture flipped a planet and killed off the rest. Once I accepted their surrender then they stopped asking and left the diplomacy screen as well. On a similar note, I also saw that once I captured two defeated races, Drengin and Yor I think, capitals then the UP met and I passed the influence bonus for UP members capitals and I got the bonus in the all 3 capitals (mine, Drengin, and Yor).
I think the wheel is a good improvement, however, until the build times update as i adjust the setting it still needs work. the values update and the wealth updates, but the values on the right for my build que don't update until i add something else to the que or come back to the planet from changing screens.
I really like this idea. I had the pods for pain and research bonus for 5 of 7 planets and the other 2 were a found precursor ship and flood for reduced population. not sure if there is a good way to cycle through the events or if not many are programmed in yet.
I had the same issue. I thought my colony ship didn't have any colonists on it. I brought in another one and it worked fine. Landed my initial colony ship, reloaded it and sent it to another planet with no issue.
This seems like a good spot for my first impressions. I got about 4 hours in today on a small map just to see how it would flow. No issues with the initial setup menus. I'm very pleased with how everything is looking. I need to play a little more to figure out the economy, but after reviewing the econ 101 post, I think it makes more sense now that I've seen it in action.
