Hi, No other post with this bug, wich occurs by me on 1.0 and 1.01. No one played the Yor this days, or is it only by me ? I also tried to remove my "Documents\Games\GalCivII" directory, no more success. The Yors are unable to construct Assembly lines, Fast Assembly, etc. I tried twice, my colonies still with the start number of population, no growing. I tried to win the game with the starting 10 population, but was quiet difficult ;) Thanks for
The problem is that this mechanic is only there for min/max micromanagement and it is not even necessary as you said,
This. The old system (with working focus/project) was redondant with the slider, but was functionnal. The problem was that a planet with 1000 production and null research was able to research only by converting production, almost without any research facilities, wich was illogical (
That is why the slider mechanic has to go... it is just very unintuitive to the average player. (my opinion anyway)
It's not *so* complicated. But it's really non-ergonomic. Usuability is shit. On big map, with 40 or 50 planets... ... with old system, I put all slider on production and projects (research or monney, most of time). Before 6.1 patch, management was quiet easy : I set up everything on "production", and changed focus with research/economic/cultural fous. Works like a charm. Two clics per planet. But now : Focus adds a very few percent of reasearch/culture/economic. A very few percent. And I have to go in the "Govern planet" every time I want to change the focus. Everytime. This means, if I have to build warships on a group of planets, I cannot just add them
My game now crashes every single time I launch it. I tried everything short of uninstalling and re-installing. Trying that now. Also, I have a system problem that may be affecting it some, but I was able to play b4. The issue will be corrected as soon as a part arrives, but.................
Same here. Please tell me if it helps... Not really motivated to re-instell everything. <

I had the same problem. Close the game, remove the directory C:\Users\(your_login_name)\Documents\My Games\GalCiv3 Then restart the game and it should be ok. Greetings,

Same problem here, with GC3 5.3. But it occurs on almost every games so far, with previous version also (4.* and 5.*) Waiting 100 turn doesn't help. UN has nothink special about avoiding war, most of time the problem occurs with Thalan and Iridium. It's a bug :)

Hi, (english is not my language, please ask if you can't understand what I tried to explain...) A general problem with science and research : Sometimes (often) I get a very stable situation, and just want to do more research to change my strategy (more military, or dev, or influence, etc.). Most of time, this lead to click 10 or 100 time to : Next Turn, Technology, View, Choose next, Select the correct domain, choose the next research, Done, Done". Hundred t
