A related question, do the event bonuses when settling a planet add to the planet's base stats, or do they add on a % to the base like a social improvement? Just curious, because if it's the first case, class 50+ planets will be occasionally possible with a class 26 planet, +class event and terraforming, soil, etc :)

When I saved and then loaded the game I was playing, the event bonus +x% to planet class went away. I had a planet that was class 34 before, then became 28. I wonder if this might be a problem with the other planet bonus events, it's just easily notcied in this case.
Just finished that one up. It would lock up when completing a few other social improvements as well, but then other times would build them wihtout crashing. This build has just been unstable in general in the mid to late game.
When I build Hyperion Manufacturing on any of my planets in the current game I am playing, it locks up hard. Does this happen to anyone else, or is it just specific to this game?
There was a terraforming (might have had a different name) galactic wonder you could build. It increased the planet's class to maximum, but you could only do it to one planet.
UP trade routes were not added the first time it was voted on 4 --> 4, but it did work the next time. Something strange going on here.
How long does it take for the Metaverse to update itself? I had submitted a score but never saw it show up.
Heh, I gave dreadnaught tech to the Torians just to see what the ship looked like. It's, um.... different :P
Slightly off topic, but are trade route prices going to become negotiable as they were in galciv 1? That was one of my favorite things in the game, trying to create super-profitable trade routes with large alien planets in order to fund my economy.
whoops, should have included my email with that last post: [email protected]
Well, after upgrading my p3 450 to an AthlonXP 2100, the drengin.net CM mystically decided to work and display a list of games (it used to not work at all). This being the case now, sign me up please.
