I have a slow Internet connection and for me Impulse is like molasses. The program opens reasonably well, but it can be another 10 minutes before it's logged in and actually ready to use and check if I have any updates available. With SDC I was logged in very quickly. I don't get it, but I'm not thrilled with Impulse. It looks good though.

I can see it coming now. OD Home Basic, OD Home Premium, OD Business and OD Ultimate. I'm not so excited by this. I guess Stardock thinks it's better for customers and making money. God bless 'em. But I liked having access to the whole suite even if I didn't use it all. I use some things (like Tweak Vista) that's not part of the new basic package, but I'm sure not a power user. I've also considered having a go at making a WB skin when Skin Studio 6 Pro came out, but that may not happen now. I th

Dear Stardock, I read the long article on how you failed. I'd like to help you in some way if I can. I don't have the technical programming skills that your people have and I'm not seeking a job. What I mean is that I think I represent one type of new user that you are trying to reach out to. If I can help you to meet the needs of people like me, I would be happy to try. My basis profile: Male; Age 43; computer literate, but not too technical; use

OB2 Rocks! I didn't even have to use the included styles and was able to make my own because I want to have a top-bar, right-sidebar in addition to my normal taskbar and left side Object Dock Quick Launch. My one issue is that I don't know how to change the size of DX widgets to fit nicely in the sidebar.

It's good that OB is being thoroughly tested. Too many programs these days are released with bugs. I was hoping that I'll be able to use OB2 to make a sidebar. Am I correct? I'm not a skinner and not too technical about modifying widgets. I was hoping that I'd be able to make a sidebar and plug in some widgets. Am I off base here? I like the way the Google sidebar works, but I don't want to use it. I want to use the Stardock products.

I think this memorial/discussion is a great tribute to those who died and those who fight on and those who continue to live with the memories. It's a terrible thought, but I'm surprised that random bombings aren't happening all over America, at malls, gas stations, supermarkets, etc, as they do in parts of Israel. Let us keep viligant and hope that it never happens. We must be careful not to lump Islamic terrorism in the same catagory with

Who needs it for that price? I'll probably stick with XP Pro on my Centrino Duo notebook. I think it's a bad move for Microsoft to make it so expensive. When XP came out, it was desperately needed upgrade/improvement over Win98. Vista may be a big upgrade from XP, but XP works pretty good. It's stable and most of the bugs are fixed by now. Why would you want to start all over again? Microsoft is also just starting to face some actual (potential) compet
