I'm designing a series of ships which have a scanner receiver oscillate round the edge of a saucer. I can get the oscillation to go clockwise, but it won't go counter-clockwise. I can set the speed, and the angle of turn using the red oscillation arrow, which sets it going back and forth starting clockwise. I assume the green oscillation arrow SHOULD start it with the 1st move being counter-clockwise, but the green arrow actually has no effect at all. The scanner receiver is not sitti
Hehe, after reading this thread and a couple others I did find two problems with my setup. 1: building generalist planets instead of specialist. 2: Using the Altarian tree, which a lot of people seem to think is the worst in the game. Started a game with synthetic species using the Thalian tree and specialist planets. OMG what a difference that makes.
This game is frustrating the bejeezuz out of me. Even on easy I get squashed. I expand as fast as I can, build ships as fast as I can, and still get squashed. Seeing as I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I can't change the gameplay to suit. I may not (obviously) be the best player, but I'm no simpleton either. Anyone that says the AI doesn't cheat is simply telling a load of old codswallop. Edit: sorry bout the thread necro, just this was the 1st goo
