I noticed something while creating ships. When I look at them straight on, the hardpoints are not exactly balanced on the sides opposite each other. It makes the ships seem lopsided. Is there a way to combat this? It's driving my perfectionist self insane.
Here's my fave one I created recently using Kyro's mod.
It only gets challenging when someone decides they don't like you and declares war on you. Then you are scrambling to make peace with them before they can lay a finger on you. That's eshilerating there.

Waste of money and time. These enlightened astronomers could have used their precious genius and time doing something more productive, like funding Nasa to help build better shuttles and landers so we can get to the moon again. It's been 40 years since we've been there. Pluto has been considered a planet for 70 some odd years, and known as such by billions of people. But a group of smart people decided we are now wron it is no longer a planet. The definition of a dwarf
That still includes going online to get it, and waiting for it to be shipped. I'm an impatient person at times, and when I want a game, I want the ability to just walk into a retailer and pick up a box. This mays save you all money, doing the online only route, but you also lose money by not doing any retail sales.
Problem: some of us like to avoid buying online, and enjoy having our pretty boxes to display. Downloading is great, but I would like the option to go into any media retailer and pick up a box. I love and enjoy the feel of it in my hands as I purchase it, as odd as it may sound. CDs break, yes. But if you are careful with it, and don't just toss them about, they should be in tip-top shape. I try to avoid buying online as it entails either credit, debit, or bank cards. I do not like the
Actually, so long as I provide money, influence, and ships to all the civs I have contact with, they tend to leave me alone. The ones who I have to worry about are the Drengin and Korx. Other than that, it's all peachy. Provide a few hulking battlecruisers to those who are responding less than warm to you, and they will get friendly real fast. The only thing you really have to worry about is avoiding alliances, as those automatically pull you into wars, and your economy. I us
Heh, not all victories have to be the standard. Watching my clients beat the living crap out of one another with my ships and money is fun, because after a while, one has to win and the other surrender. This allows me the most peace, keeping all friendly with me, they allow me to continue supplying everyone, thus fuel their wanton destruction of their enemy. Soon my clientel will shrink, but then there is me and the other civ, then I make an alliance with them, end of story.
The thing about that is, i'm not into the whole military conquest route. I don't find as much enjoyment in it. Balancing the attitudes and thoughts of my dealings and civilization to me are much more enjoyable. Economics and keeping a healthy flow is fun to me. Watching two civs fighting one another, both using my ships is a riot and fun to watch. Military conquest cuts your survival chance in half, causing a lot of problems, as well as keeping track of things ands enemies. I'm the qu

Hello, i'm new to the Metaverse, but not to GalCivII. I've played mostly single player games from begginner to normal setting, and tend to use the medium to large maps. I put in my first game, not a victory, since well....alliances kinda screwed me over. I like being the more peaceful, merchanting like civilizations. Usually with great economics, trade, and research as well as production in both social and military fields. I also tend to use the Terran style with a custom race. <b
