It shouldn't take that long to give a little realism to the game. ---- also someone please help me with this FORUM BUG ---- FORUM BUG "please post a message before submitting your article". I keep getting this and can't get out of it even trying new posts. For a while posting new threads worked and then now no matter what the interface looks different (with rich text stuff on it and like regular verses fancy text code used to be below now it's on a second page)

I've made games where I've played as a similuted borg and won on impossible by pure ship capturing. Capturing antaran ships just means several battleships or higher with assault shuttles and send about 4 at each antaran ship. You usually get one. FORUM BUG "please post a message before submitting your article". I keep getting this and can't get out of it even trying new posts. The message post looks different (with rich text stuff on it), too and I can't get back to normal. I've rebooted, restarted my browser, cleared the cache and cookies, nothing. It happens when I create new threads, but not replying. This forum won't even load on MSIE, just firefox. Netscape loads it but it freezes Netscape.

Sutt, The last one in the line gives it. Bryam, I found all but humans and the human-look-alikes (Ant-something?) are war-crazy. Nobody else wants to tech up. They just want to war really early.

Good should just get a moral bonus. I see loyalty, but I look and look and can't find where this is noted in my game. Also same for "approval", only morale I see.

Potential Bug, untested in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Let's say somebody fills a planet full of trade goods, galactic achievements, manufacturing capitals, and other stuff that can't be gotten rid of--so every square is one. Then some other race invades that planet, and uses a tactic that destroys those buildings and some of the planet quality, so do some of these vanish? And can they be rebuilt or does the game think they're still there but with or without their bonuses?

If someone invades my world doing a tactic that destroys planetary quality, and then loses, can those tiles ever come back or is the planet quality reduced forever? Maybe someone can invade a planet, destroy quality, give planet to enemy, re-invade, and repeat until the planet is unusable?

QUESTIONS: trading trade goods / influence points in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

If I trade a trade good from another race (according the forums, I get the advantages, but not have to store it) and the planet the good is on gets decommissioned (race can just destroy it) or somebody invades the planet and uses an invasion tactic that destroys the good, what happens? Did I lose the advantages? Also, see influence points are available for trade. It always says 1and I've even traded for them, but the next turn I see we're both at 1 like nothing happened. I've found when I alt tab back and forth between the game and something else (just a text file say of notes for strategies written down), the music sometimes stays off. Maybe it's a memory issue as I only have 512MB and I heard the game wants a gig or two. Also on larger maps if the game starts going slower, it won't want to do music as often.

It's not on the wiki at all. This site says interdiction beam just speeds up your own ships. http://www.cosmicrealms.com/galciv2/ So nothing to slow the enemy ships down?

You misunderstood my post, I was asking about what stuff to disable. Also I want to keep windows 98 (I don't trust Windows XP and I heard if you buy it, their copy protection system makes you put all this personal info in Microsoft's routinely hacked database. I prefer to) and win98 can't handle over 2 gigs of memory.

In the colonizing planets, I only saw one option once to reward people for being good. I think if people choose good, it should have an advantage. RPGs reward good unrealistically and punish neutral/evil unrealistically. In galciv2, they reward evil choices. Good and evil should have unique rewards
