Solved it!!! So I found a post in the 2.70 patch notes by Old-Spider (reply#6), that talked about how his mods weren't showing up in game and found out that it was due to his naming convention of his mod folders. He used a period in his name, (i.e. "2.61") to show that they were updated to the latest patch. When he removed the period from the folder name, his mods started to work in the game. I had also done a similar naming convention (ALS_Star Trek_2018_Crusade 2.71). So I rem

That is what I'm doing,, I first tried a mod in Crusades mod folder and then also in the base game mod folder. I read in the forums that if you are modding a base game aspect or file it needed to be in the base game mod folder. I'm not sure i buy it though, because it still did really nothing. Thanks

First of all I am using Crusades 2.71 with no other mods other then described below. So in previous versions I was able to use the file ShipHullStatDefs.xml to change the MassCap number to increase the total space available for a ship size to use for components. Now In 2.71 I seem to only get a minor increase and not the increase I modded/edited in ShipHullStatDefs.xml. Example being the default MassCap setting for a cargo ship is 90. I modded it to 160. I

Yep done those things, the debug.err file doesn't seem to show any errors or failures and I've done the troubleshooting page also. I guess if the game can't handle large quantities of Civs or fractions then just say so StarDock. But I thought that one of the benefits behind having the game in 64bit.

So I'm told you can play 64 Civs on a Ludicrous map. So why does the game crash to the desktop any time I have more than 32 civs selected? According to the link below I should be able to. <a href="https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/482955/galciv-iii-crusade---ludicrous-upda

Ok, so what am I doing wrong that my upgraded ships are not showing up in the upgrade list. I take a ship and "Use Design" to add new techs to it and save it as "Ship Name I" using "I" to note that it is a upgrade from original version "ship name". Should be that simple. The upgraded ship is in the size. Please help,,, I searched the forums but no one else seems to have this problem.

I would like to be able to turn off the default ship designs from the get go. I know you can just mark them as obsolete right now or as the game plays out. But If I know I do not want to use them for the race I'm going to be playing then why not turn them off at the start of the game. It would also save me a lot of clutter in the ship list. Leave the user designed ships on and just be able to turn off the core ships. I usually play the terrain race a
