Quoting Captain Hero, reply 4 Yeah but can you click on sensors 4, then warp drive 3, then plasma 5, then sensors 5?? It's a shame that stardock would miss something so useful. Games change too fast for that. It's not as useful of a feature as you'd think.
Actually it would be extremely useful. That is why I made this post.

In Civilization III and IV, you are able to select multiple techs in a queue, so that whenever a tech was finished researching, the game automatically went to the next one in the queue to research. I do not see this in GCTOTA. It is really annoying having to go the the tech screen every time something is finished researching. I want it done automatically. Am I missing something?? Or is this just a huge oversight by stardock?
And sometimes they are canadian, too. Villainy!
I gave in and just installed the RealTek driver. I played GCII through a whole game without any problems. This is a good sign. There were no sound problems or crashes or anything. Hopefully it stays that way. Thanks for the help David!
Thanks for the Help guys. And thanks david for the heads up on the drivers. I tried to install the lastest realtek driver like you said, but Windows said it is not approved and might be dangerous, so I didn't. Sorry about posting an old debug. Here is one that happened last night. Debug Message: Version v1.7 Dark Avatar beta 3a last updated on: Fri Oct 5 09:19:22 2007 Debug Message: Checking DX Version. So the more intense the graphics processing the hotter the GPU will become, and thus the more power it needs? If my computer is underpowered will the GPU underpreform?
Thanks Kryo for the help, I really appreciate it. I found a GeForce 7600GT 256MB at New Egg for 99.00 after rebates....is that a better card than the X1650? The reason I ask is because I looked at Wikipedia and it said that the 7600GT was marginally better than the X1650. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814141043
Hi everyone...I know very little about video cards and am utterly confused with whats out there. But I need one because playing GCII is a little difficult with my on-board memory. Heres my system specs: AMD 64 X2 4200+ 960 megs RAM PCI Express slot available I will not pay more than 100$ on a video card. What kind of card would work best for GCII, and other games like Civ IV? Thanks!
When there are ship combat scenes over a planet, I think the planet should look like a real planet with oceans and land visible, not some indiscernable mass of spinach green. Also I think the rally system needs to be overhauled because it is very difficult to manage fleets on a large or huge map. When you click on a rally point on the rally point screen, the rally point should light up on the map to remind you where it is. Also I think you should be able to dock ships on a starbase t
