Download the SP1 RC1 last night. Installed it this morning and it does seem to br running much faster then before. However it is still a RC1 service pack and time will tell. Will continue to beat on it daily and see what breaks.
I just have download and installed objectdock 1,9 because it says have system tray compatibility for windows vista.. but it does't the tray tag... appears with no icons PD: i use windows vista ultimate 32 or 64 bit?
Using Vista as main OS. Have dual boot to xp but have not been there for weeks. Working with the beta of MS Virtual PC 7 to do away with that. Beta tested Vista since June and have been using it more every day since and made the switch in January. Have a few little issues but the plus's outnumber the minus's. Also it is the 64 bit and there is not one app that I have to have that does not work on it. Notebook Compaq Presario 2400 1.6Ghz AMD Turion64 2Gb Ram Ati Radeon Expres
Having a 64bit processor it just made since to install the 64bit verison of Vista. I have not run into any compatibility issues as of yet. I even have Itunes running on it. I have noticed that no matter what I am running or how much processor DreamScene is taking the system does not seam to slow down. Office 2007 runs great as well as all the tools that I had running on XP. System config. AMD Turion64 1.6ghz 2GB Ram ATI 200M Video Major Apps Office 200
I had it running on 64bit Vista. It worked quite well for a week then it started having issues with the video driver. Vista would respond with and error message that the vidoe driver had been restated and would keep doing this untill I turned off the DreamScene Preview. I have unistalled and reinstalled both DreamScene and DeskScape but the error remains. I have also updated the video driver. Anybody have and ideal on this one.
