I voted for multiplayer.. or did I sign up on this web page after that poll closed, either way, I would have. I think depth of a game loses value after a point, without being able to play it with other people. I mean, its like a tree falling in the woods, if only one person is ever around to see it. I mean, look at how I got into the game. My friend was hey, I got this game, its awesome, you should try it. So I picked it up, and its kickin, and I ended up playin it, so instead of

I dig this post, kudos I had no where near that kind of grasp on the interworkings of the building mechanics. All I knew is I missed being able to colonize planets and buy their first two factories for around 500 bc. It makes sense to avoid these until your empire is built up a ways. I always rushed some of them, the economics specifically thinkin that I needed to improve my income ba
My last game I had a tile with 700% and one with 300% bonuses to manufacturing, it was awesome It could spit out tiny fighters with 3 attack and 1 defense every turn, most other things in two turns. And that was without having a focus.. place ended up with no research at all though, I had to level my non factory buildings to make room for galatic achievements that were being completed
I kind of like Marcathonas' posts. I mean, we can't just all gather around and have a pow wow and agree with every single idea out there. I have a hard time getting on top of the other strategic parts of the game as it is, I'd dislike for my battles to become an effort in futility too, I kind of just like kickin back every once in awhile and watchin stuff blow up. I'd rather see random battles, it feels kind of munchkin that the fleets just line up, and take turns pickin on one ship at a tim
I found it, Its pretty neat, I guess I should have tried to look a little harder before asking ha ha.. ha... Anyways, its a little problamatic sometimes. Some of the weapons I was sticking on one of my ships when I had the option checked .. I put a gun in the wrong place, and I removed the module, but the gun still appeared stuck to the ship. Had to turn the option off to clean it off the hull.
On occasion when I load my game up, my ships forget that they have any range at all. I mean, I could launch a ship from one of my planets, and it wouldn't be able to move. Right now in my game I'm trying to bait a full fleet away from my home world with a sentry, but the ship can't move, it'll die where its at without buyin me any time at this rate. I think maybe it fixed itself once before when it happened after I reloaded a few times, but I tried that three times and it didn't work this tim
I was scopin out the patch notes and it says Players can choose to upgrade ships and either have the functional components removed by default or have them stay. Where do I swap that over to have em stay? Its always a pain when I'm tryin to upgrade my units and I forget whatexactly it had. Also.. whats it mean by functional parts? Modules and what not, or structural extras, or both? Its bums me out when I try to upgrade one of the base ship designs, and It gets strippe
