I was quite disappointed when I bought the DLC for Mega Events and this seems to be a text only DLC. It took me a while to figure out that the DLC was actually working as the first one I encountered seemed to be a bit of a blink and miss it event in its importance. I delayed buying the DLC as I was annoyed that I would have to buy something that was an integrated part of GalCiv2 but after GalCiv3 felt boring and staid I gave in. For me, a game should be immersive and as much as I hated seeing

I am deaf and a keen player of Galactic Civilisations 2 and 3. I am very disappointed that there are still no subtitles or captions for videos within the game as this ruins the immersive experience as I have no idea what is happening. With the last major update, this has still not been done and does seem a wee bit short sighted as not everyone would want to play the game with sound all the time and quite a few people are hard of hearing or deaf. This is not a new issue but one that has been a
I am deaf so even with sound, I am unable to understand what the sound is saying. I was hoping that the game was modifiable enough to insert text in videos but thank you for replying.
Is there going to be an option for adding captions in the game? The campaigns are nigh unplayable without this. I don't know what the intro videos say as well so it makes the game very frustrating.
Did we find out if they will put the subtitles option in GalCiv3?
Could you please update on whether you will have subtitles on the videos both pre-game, campaigns and end game victories? I love a good space opera but cannot follow the story at all presently.
Playing as Altarians, I have been able to colonise some settle-able planets with my colony ships and then it becomes pot luck whether I can colonise. The colony ships are directed to a planet then close to 1-4 moves to the planet, the ship stops. When selecting again the ship to go to the planet, the ship refuses to recognise that it can move there with no pop-ups saying why. Sometimes the ship can settle another planet but understandably very frustrating at the moment when everything is goin
1. What specific features of diplomacy do you traditionally like the most? I want you to be as specific as you can be. Which parts of diplomacy from any game do you like the most? What parts do you remember long after playing the most? I like the witty or sarcastic comments. I really dislike being friends with a species for a small while then getting pulled into a war almost straight away. I want to see more options with diplomacy, like teasing the speaker to wind them up and for them
After getting the Beta, I was a bit disappointed to see no subtitles on the intro video. Would there be an option for me to set subtitles on the game in the future as it doesn't help me to understand the game...
I'm a huge fan of GalCiv2 however one of the main drawbacks for me was the lack of subtitles/captions on the videos especially the introduction. It didn't allow for an immersive experience for me. Can we please have caption support for GalCiv3? Cheers
