Nice Idee, but... please, please redesign this globe - the colours hurt my eyes. It is a big psychodelic dot that does not fit-in... an overdone eye-catcher. (No designer here, so sorry for clumsy description)

I would rather like automated homing missiles - small self-destruct spaceshipe that I deploy onto one hex and that subsequently attacks fleets that don't have the right transponder-code. A further range-upgrade could allow attacks into neigboring hexes. Point-defense systems or AI-core-hacking would counter this space-defense systems. This would also be some kind of wall because it must not be invisible, just a small automatet ship with a nice payload for my borders...

Likely, this will be not the only Q&A Session... so strategically, a team needs some time to decide what to tell and mayby even adapt some designs based on the interests of it's founders (but this is not so likely ;) ) So fast harvesting means a manageable question size and faster answers - hopefully

My two main Questions for this time are: 1) Will there be Characters/Specialists in the game that pop up from time to time or are for hire on certain planets or… rescued at intergalactic structures? My Vision would be: They Support (give bonuses) or allow special “Moves” such as an Admiral that allows one additional/unique Tactic. They are not Heroes in the Wo

+1 for tjashen. The ideas were great, the implementation were lacking. But... the AI must know how to use all this features. If this is not feasible, than: NO Also, way bigger armies (but small unit scale - 4 man max, for balance-reasons) I yearn for the feeling of the original picture, the one were the dragon was attacked.
