Doesn't work. Tried this several times and always get the same results when i try to run the game. A black screen that just sits there for hours if I let it. Kill the program in task manager and get a minidump log. now even with the entire game and license folder deleted it still tells me game is installed. Very frustrating. These problems started with the last update up till then game worked great.

Same problem here wont uninstall. delete folders. Re-install but game won't play. Get a black screen and nothing else. this can go on for hours . i let it run just out of curiosity. close the game and i get a mini dump log. Plays with no problem on my xp system. Help!!!!

I see all kinds of great mods. but have no idea of how to implement them once i have them downloaded. Could someone give me a step by step Dummies walk through of installing and using mods? I have no intrest in making them just using and playing them. the 7Sins looks really intriuging.

Been trying to beat this Scenario but keep ending up in an economic sinkhole. You start with a -350 income and it doesn't seem to get better. Ive tried deleting all but my survey ship and 1 dreadnaught. also upgraded my colony ship to transport. but by the time I can start taking over planets my econmy is in the red. Any suggestions or Ideas?

Can anyone tell me where to find my saved games? I've looked in all the folders in stardock/totalgaming/galCivII and can't seem to find em. want to transfer them to another comp. please include full file cuz i'm somewhat of a dummy when it comes to this stuff.

Ha someone else with this problem. It happens to me on a regular basis and clicking find doesn't help it just freezes up solid Though I can move the cursor around but clicking on anything or dragging the map doesn't do anything..I can hit the window button and then restore once i'm back to desk top screen and sometimes that works. but most of the time I have to restart the game. seems like it gets hung up on the info screens. tried different graphic settings all to no avail.I'm Running it on an

So is anything being done about this bug? It not only happens in TOA it happens in Avatar also. Most annoying. Otherwise I find the game very fun to play. what little I do get to play of it. gonna try 2 turn saves and no cpu for AI see if it helps

Everyone seems to know everything about the Vasari except me is there a manual or strat guide or something? i'm having troubles playing them as the more planets I conquer the more credits i lose is there a way around this? I just downloaded last night and have this problem with the Vasari also. Sometimes I can see my ships other times I can't. Also my planets go transparent on me and starlanes dissapear.

X-Don't know hwo to generate a bug report. but here goes a discription of problem I am having. Just installed new beta patch and at first game was doing fine. Decided to start a new game (I was losing badly ) and after the first turn it gave me a zero point win. restarted game same thing. tried another new game same results. can't go past first turn.
