Never had this issue before, but it must be a problem with certain system configurations.

Others notice this? I just launched all ships in orbit at once, telling them to move this way.

Starbase request and criticism: If only military starbases could move, then they'd be awesome command/repair centers. They become obsolete just after the military objective is obtained for that region. Also, if only their effective range scales with map size. Too much coverage on tiny maps, and practically useless (except tricking AI about our military power in GC2) in massive galaxy maps.
The only useless types of starbases, for now, are the influence and mining bases (only if you don't use/need the resource). The economy and military bases are quite useful. Military bases are a good way to establish a beach head of sorts when beginning an offensive and holding off the hordes of fleet the NPCs get to build due to their difficulty bonus.
Well, the old way of doing it for GalCiv2 doesn't work, but since it's running through/with Steam, just press F12, and it'll be added to your Steam folder's SS. You can access it via steam, and get to the folder itself through this Steam screenshot window.
I just designed my first multi-con mod ship, but conquered everybody before it was built. I'll test this too.
I think flymar knows about the logistics point. He's reporting that he can't stack them even when he's got enough points to stack the ships. I haven't had this issue (yet?) but I also experienced free ship upgrades. I got my battle fleets upgraded without any cost, and in the same turn also bought a planet structure (solar plant maybe?), and the cost was deducted normally. So strange. Not sure how to report this kind of bug so devs can recreate

Ignore would be better....it's pretty neat to be able to build a bit closer to the front line so new ships can save a turn of travel.
I suppose it could include something about them being useful for building ships and stuff.
I just finish my production asap and then focus on 'Economic Stimulus.' My problem is that this build option is like an 'I WIN' button because my approval goes sky-high once I hit it, along with those other +50% bonus. So, I just squeeze the population of work for a bit, then get econ stim going, and everything's all good. Might eventually write about it for a nerf or balancing.
I agree. Also, the planet names on the list could get smaller, or at least not have the large border/box that does nothing helpful except take up space. I suggest adding an option to drop a planet from sponsorship from that planet's Govern screen. Eventually, when there's a Colony list screen up, being able to see sponsorship and reassign them via that screen would be great!
