I definitely receive multiple trade resource bonuses from the same resource type according to the colony screen research modifier tooltip.

Geez, can't believe I missed that. Thanks Niedzielan. Updating post.
Thanks for the info. That means the tooltip is incorrect then.
It would be nice if our manufacturing, research, and wealth bonuses in the city screen tooltips were totaled up for us at the beginning or the end of the list. Once you have a lot of bonuses (10+ in my recent game) bonuses, it gets pretty annoying having to add everything up. It would be nice just to be able glance at it and say, "Wow 325% manufacturing bonus in Sol - I'm awesome" instead of having to add it all up manually. Thanks.
Apparently it's not a bug to have multiple of the same trade resources, but the tooltip says otherwise. On a PQ26 planet, I received two of the same trade resource. The tooltip for these says only one per civilization. Also, the effect from both are present (+10% manufacturing instead of 5%, for example) in my cities.
Soil Enhancement on larger planets (PQ 26 in my game) still shows up in the list and is nonfunctional when there are no more spots to terraform at that level (it just highlights the colony capitol building in yellow). It would be nice if Soil Enhancement would just be grayed out in the project list when not usable.
When choosing the Mining Specialization Tech, which grants Mining +1, it appears to do nothing. What is Mining +X supposed to do? Increase the yield of each mined resource by X?
Appreciate your perspective Lucky Jack. I played the earlier GC's as well. My perspective - playing on 2560x1600 resolution creates a large amount of screen space, especially with the small UI. On top of that, I have never (ever) played any game in windowed mode. Not having edge scrolling is literally hurting my brain and I'm having a hard time playing without it. This is basic stuff and can easily be programmed to be disabled during Windowed Mode.
I agree with this. When I realized the named stars were in the game after seeing some of these names... it's already breaking immersion for me. It was a nice gesture (I named mine Icharu), but I don't like it at all.
Can we please, PLEASE, with a cherry on top get mouse scrolling activated? It feels very awkward to me not having such basically functionality for this type of game. I really expected it for Beta 2.

The game play is certainly slower than I remember from GalCiv 2, in the early stages of a Large map game at least. It feels like there is too much empty space between stars, objects, etc, even when setting map generation settings to Common. The end of turn notifications and process could be smoothed over as well. I feel like I'm clicking (end) Turn a million times only to have it tell me I have Idle Ships anyway. See Civilization V for a proper unit/notification/tu
It was free for me for the first three or four ships before it deducted from my bank. Something is definitely broken.
Yes, this needs to happen.
Just a few items to list: - In the Choose Civilization screen, there is an extra letter "c" at the end of the Altarian description. - Planet tooltip for Influence Growth spelled "Influance". - The Choose Opponents screen has a wide blue bar shown over the selectable items, which can barely be seen due to the blue bar. This occurred using 2560x1600 resolution and the large UI option (doesn't happen on normal UI size). -
Russ88, I agree and came here to post the same thing! Also running 2560x1600. The clarity of the Large option is fantastic, just too large. As you say, a Medium option or a slider as epmode mentioned would be great.
