I pressed on and discovered not all the races were doing it. Two I have been at war with for a awhile and stopped fleeting, are still not fleeting, but one I have been at war with a long time but too far away from has been sending full fleets now that he has the range to reach me. Its as if once you destroy a lot of enemy fleets they start to break and stop fleeting up. Oh well, I hope they can pin it down.

Greetings. I know this has been an ongoing problem. I just started playing Galciv again and my current game has become unplayable due to this bug. They seemed to fleet up early on, but now almost never send fleets, and when they do they are undermanned. They have a lot of ships, but just stack them single sometimes 50 or 60 deep. This makes my game a mop up exercise when it would have been very competitive. I use no mods. Insane map size with 24 opponents. Is this something they are w

I had this problem as well but it was with 3 planets, all sponsoring the same shipyard. I removed all sponsors and moved the yard, then re-added the sponsers. This restored the production ques to working order.

While I don't think it is useless, it could stand to be expanded upon. Yes we need to be able to move civilian ships through A.I. space, but the A.I. should put a bit more importance on potential diplomatic consequences of being too invasive. In reality any intelligent being is going to know dropping a resource starbase in the heart of a rival races empire, sometimes right next to the capital is going to cause problems. Producing 1 large ship per shipyard per turn is not too hard, especially mid to late game. In my current game I am producing huge ships every 3 turns per yard and that is 1 ship class larger. I would have no problem getting it down to 1 if I thought it was necessary, but it never is. That is not to say I think you are wrong about it cheating, although if it is cheating I can't imagine how easy it would be to beat if you took that away. They aren't working at all. They start with a couple of ships that disappear quickly, then just sit there. I stopped destroying them since they aren't a threat anymore and have had them go through a few hundred turns without ever building one ship. I do not use mods.

Ships take forever to repair, especially late game when hit point pools are very large. If you have these you can attack weak opponents that don't do any damage

Greetings. I was under the impression we could not use copyrighted material, but I noticed alot of the steam workshop races are copyrighted materiel i.e. Warhammer and Star Trek. Can we grab whatever photos on the net we want and use them on custom races we upload to the workshop? If not, are there any good places to get free to use images?

Greetings. Is there a hotkey for generating a new galaxy, like in the Fallen Enchantress and old galciv games? I've had to go through the main menu when trying to get a good start on new games. I looked around but didn't see one....

I too have just experienced the first bug you mentioned. The Yor have invaded two of my systems on the same turn. When the second invasion screen comes up I get a message at the bottom of the invasion menu that says "Waiting for other player", and it just hangs there indefinitely. Looks like this is fixed on the upcoming version 1.1.
