Yeah, I will probably do the same, once SOTS is on sale. I do miss Divinity 2, though.

When the AI offers trades, it's sometimes possible to modify the trade so that they will give you everything they have for 0 credits. Problem confirmed by other people on Steam forums: http://steamcommunity.com/app/226860/discussions/1/1327844097122512832/

Hm - clarification - It happens only when I modify AI's offer. When I initiate the trade, it does not happen.
Playing as United Earth, everybody gives me everything they have (ships, techs, credits), for 0 credits, and they still consider it a gift. Playing with all the DLC.
Oh... It's enabled by default on my KDE window manager :]
This is not happening.
The OS stats are absolutely irrelevant. For example, I am a heavy linux and FreeBSD user (I do my work on Linux and FreeBSD), but I dual-boot to Windows for gaming. So any gaming survey will see me as a Windows user, which is not true, the games that exist for Linux and are performing adequately, I will play under Linux.
I thank everyone for their opinions. I read all the answers, went through the forums both here and on Steam, read a few reviews and discussions, watched some gameplay footage and finally decided to buy Dead Man's Draw instead. That's also a Stardock game, but it's ten times cheaper, actually complete, and provides adequate entertainment value. Once Galciv 3 is in reasonably finished state and for a reasonable total price including all the DLCs, I will probably buy it. Till
I love well-written campaigns.
Is there anything gamebreaking you have to pretend does not exist all the time? (I read influence mechanics...) Are there significant parts of the game unfinished/missing? Is the AI at least passable? Is the game enjoyable to play, is there enough diversity in replays? Thanks.
Never fear, if you have nothing to hide, they will find out eventually. Of course, they won't believe you at first, after all, everyone has something to hide. So they will invite you politely to a secret military base somewhere on an undisclosed location for a bit of torture sessions, just a few years really, and they won't bother you with stuff like trials and sentencing, because hey, that's just bureaucracy, right? We all know who are the good guys, and if the go
You need to buy this: http://www.entropykey.co.uk/ Experience the whole new level of gaming with real randoness. When the AI should be erratic, it will be truly erratic! Isn't it exciting? Plus you can make NSA boys sweat a bit when they brute-force through your encrypted messages.
Please wake me up when AIs will be capable of playing games like Rome Total War, Civilization, Go ... or Galactic Civilization on a semi-competent level. Or when they are capable of truly understand human language, and to perceive things like irony, metaphor, symbolism, etc. I think the current tech is still eons from that. Meanwhile... why don't we make our world at least a bit asymmetric so that the current AIs have at least a fleeting chance of taking over, just for the

Six asteroids? So it's six bullets, and you are done? Man, it's like a giant space revolver.
