Hi there, just got a blast when hearing the announcement for the new part of the series. Having played GalCiv2 for some hundrets of hours, I would be very pleased if this game could be played on a Surface or similar mobile devices and therefore could (optionally?) be optimized for touch.. I can't imagine a better title for playing some turn-based strategy game in the train or on the sofa..
The features sound nice ant I think they will influence the gameplay to a much higher level in complexity and variability. But I also agree to the point that 30$ are a real steep price for an addon. I bought GalCiv2 on the first day it was published for a regular price of 28€ here in Europe, so I would spend more for the addon as for the game itself. Maybe some guys at Stardock implement a nice little HotSeat-Mode or play-by-mail for the addon.. Ok, ok, I'm already quite!

Ah, ok. I was only wondering what I do wrong.. How are the scores calculated? Someone in my Empire did two games, the calculated score is neither cumulative than averaged.. And is the empire score cumulative? Questions over questions..
Hi all, I uploaded a game to the metaverse two days ago but I am still unranked. Also I created an Empire in which we are five people at the moment. Also the empire is still unranked and no points are displayed. Can anyone tell me why?
In Germany it hits the store on the 24th. Maybe this will be the release in the Netherlands, too. Just look at webshops, there you will find when it is available.. I got my copy at play.com, they deliver worldwide without p&p-fees but you need to have a credit card.
Hi, I wonder what senators do in an empire and what is the difference between them and "normal" players? Can anyone give me a hint?
By the way: When and how often are the empire scores updated? It seems that it takes aseveral times until played games are added to the Empire score..
..like the blood they are causing usually..
Nice one! Is it done in .NET so that somebody could convert it to pocketPC? Would be nice to have something like this when travelling in trains or plans.. okok, I'll shut up!
Hi folks, I wonder how points and ranks are treated in Empires. Is this whole thing cumulative or does the rating of an empire depend on the number of players/games and/or other factors? Greets, unit (first post here btw. )
