The names are fine as they are. I would prefer if the ethics system would take into account stuff you do outside of random events. That annoyed me how in GalCiv 2, I could wipe out one race after another, yet still be officially "good". This time, I think that would be neat if you could win Malevolence points for declaring an unjustified war against a innocent neighbor and conquering their planets. Weirdly enough, I'm not getting this problem anymore (despite the lack of an update since I posted this). The game will actually start now. Whether I'll find anything to offer feedback on (that hasn't already been reported to death) is another story, though.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one having this problem. I hope that they fix it soon. The real value of the Founder's Elite deal is in getting all the expansions in the future, but I was looking forward to offering feedback on the alpha version, too.

What the title says. I try to start a new game, either the normal way or the "quick start" button, and the game hangs at the "loading" screen with the swirling galaxy.
