I saw in the first expansion pack one of the things they might be adding is hot-seat muiltplayer, which is, IMO all GalCiv2 needs muiltplayer wise.

Don't you mean space? You do NOT store files in memory. (Well, maybe temporarly when you load the files into a program)

There are no waypoints in GalCiv2. However there can be if enough people want it/make enough fuss. Waypoints != Rally Points, Rally Points are what you can set planets to send their completed ships too, waypoints are places a unit visits once which is quickly defined by the player.

Everyone should check out Stellar Frontier right now, you can't call yourself a fan unless you've tried it! It takes getting used too and the manuals don't explain it like it is, but it is certienly exteremly awesome!

The logs will most likely be put at the root directory of the drive that the erroring application is at, for GC2, it'll be what drive you installed it on.

I voted no, if it was just muiltplayer and nothing else, I am not mourning the lack fo muiltplayer. I would however like to get it if it included hot seat and/or costed a bit less and had more stuff in the expansion then just muiltplayer.

Yeah, sometimes it gets annoying.. Especially when they magicly go out of guard mode? And is it just me, or is Sentry(S) and Guard(G) slightly different, what is the difference? They basicly do the same thing?

I think you should find a crash log in the root directory of the hard drive you have GalCiv2 installed on. There should be two files, a ".DMP" and a ".CRA", open the .DMP in notepad and post the contents.
