For me, this isn't about a wheel / no wheel. I've been playing this game awhile. I had to take a long study break for my CPA exam on the order of months. I come back after the hiatus and find out that the way I play the game has been totally altered. My Surface Pro 1 handled a large galaxy just fine. I tried an insane sized galaxy the other day on my Surface Pro 3, and I had to dial it back to 'low' graphics settings, and it was still kinda laggy/jumpy. I expect that it should have enough meat before it's all said and done. The SP3 is an I5-8g Ram model. @Frogboy: Yes. We tablet users often have no mouse, which means no third mouse button or mouse wheel. I've noticed some basic pinch-zoom functionality, but not being able to rotate the ships without hooking up a mouse is a super big pain.
