Download, install and run SmartException from the free stuff tab in Stardock Central so that if the GCII crashes, it will generate a report that you can send to [email protected]. My guess is that those CTD's will be probally fixed a lot quicker by Stardock this way. If your PC reboots try to monitor the temperature, if i's getting hot, clean it and try to open a side panel to keep it cool.

GC2 not remembering music volume in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Aloha, Lowered the music volume of GC2 but on restart it doesn't remember the settings. The music keeps on playing at the '8000' settings

Downloaded and installed the program this midday. Living in Europe (Netherlands) Gal Civ II come through at approx. 40-50KB/s. The tutorials, movies and multimedia at speeds of 2000KB/s. Big difference in speed imo.
