I'm having a similar problem. I lost my hard drive and now i need to reinstall WB. I've installed Windows 7 though and Impulse only shows WB6, and won't let me install it to upgrade. How can i update to WB7?

wallpapers in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I just downloaded a new skin for my desktop, and the wallpaper is supposed to be in a zip file in the skin. The download is a .wba file, and i can't find the extracted file location WB6 stores it skins in. When i choose to use the wallpaper for the theme in WB it just gives me the wallpaper i've been using. In XP these files were in the shared folder on the C:\ drive if i remember correctly. Where are these files stored in Vista?

Great! i'll try to install at home then, see if that works. Only thing i can think of is the file from the email is bad. I've installed multiple downloaded executables after i reinstalled XP and that's the only one i've had any problems with. Update: Just for fun i downloaded Stardock Central to see if it would work or have the same issues as Impulse. Stardock Central was able to download WB6.10 without any problems. I now have it installed and running as i type this :) <br

i'm betting it's my network restrictions here now. I've installed Impulse, it connects, i get the little globe in the top left with the lock icon showing my email and login name. I go to My Desktop and click install on WB6.1 and it says i'm working offline i need to login or connect. i've rebooted since then, now it says it cannot connect working offline. I just changed back from window Vista to XP pro. I submitted my information and got the email with the download likn for windowblinds. Thanks for the info :) i'll try installing from SC rather than the old email link i have and see what that does. Edit: that was it, i was out of date. Everything works fine now, except an annoying flicker in the icon area around hte clock while desktop is loading, but that quits after everything is loaded, so i can live with it.
