I always thought that Master of Orion II as the turn-basd 4X was strongly influential on GalCiv. But Master of Orion in terms of hitting that optimal spot between less micromanagement but the ability to pivot resources for targeted management was never replicated well in later 4X games. The AI working alone is fairly consistent and a human is self-consistent, but a Cybrid is tricky to program to have the AI follow the human leader. An empire that is too vast

Well, you asked the question: Really would want this: 1. SpaceMonger has fuzzy duplicate file search support, this is really important with trying to recover from drive synchronization errors Some priority: 1. ObjectDock dragged into Windows 10 All Versions 2. "Simple" turn on/turn off function to standard desktop from all of Object Desktop programs.

I really liked the mechanic in MOO (Antarans attack, planets die) and now in Stellaris (any of them, but the End is pretty spectacular) for some joker/crisis events to occur that require some changes to the win condition (just survive, baby) to spice it up. I realize this isn't a balanced mechanic and makes games have a RNG quality, but since I'm not playing multiplayer, I would like some disruption in the end game. Is there a mod that does crises or i

Still learning the new tech tree system. I would like to have the game send me your data but the PR people say we could run into issues. But if I knew what paths 100,000 players were using, the AI could start using it. Would it be possible to build this as a voluntary Opt-In system? I'd happily opt into this. Also, something against the current Crusade AI, doesn't value tech strateg

I really like the citizens for changing some of the rules of this expansion (especially what Generals do with transports, thank you for ending the end game grind), but I find that I would like a way to disrupt another civilization that is compulsively training Leaders. Is there a method for getting rid of enemy citizens that are not Generals or Spies? I think you kill citizens if you take over a planet that they are at or shoot them down in transit, but is there a way to hold a ra

I think that there should be an option to capture starbases rather than shoot them down in the early (or even late) game. How often in real life military campaigns did a fortress or fortification actually get completely destroyed in the course of battle (even in the post-modern artillery era)? It's more likely that the fortress is capture and then reduced afterwards rather than it being destroyed in combat. Even with this patch, I still tend to bypass

https://www.gog.com/connect Apparently, GoG with Stardock's permission allow someone who simultaneously has a Steam account and a GoG account to link them together to get GalCiv III activated on GoG for the next five days (from the current timer). Thank you so much Brad and Stardock for allowing this! I hope that the DLC will also link up since I have the Founder's Edition.
