Also "The Yor are a racer of aggressive sociopathic machines." I assume that is a mistake and there is not going to be a future F1 minigame?
Good eye. Fixed.

PLYMOUTH, MI – OCTOBER 23, 2013 – Stardock revealed today its strategic relationship with just-announced digital entertainment company Oxide Games. Oxide is currently developing a next-generation engine for PC and console strategy games named Nitrous, and will announce its upcoming game titles at a later date. Oxide’s Nitrous engine uses fully concurrent processing and a strictly 64-bit architecture to render scenes beyond anything possible with curr
Meet the Yor, though the sociopathic murderbots don’t much care to meet with meat. Our sentient race of homicidal machines are sitting pretty in the Galactic Civilizations III timeframe. The clever Drengin plot to hold back during the Dread Lord war and crush their enemies’ exhausted militaries afterward appealed to the Yor’s calculated self-interest. The robotic Yor fleets joined the Drengin in smashing the Terran and Arcean empires and their allies, and now hold jo
Oh I'm not mad -- I appreciate your help. They should all be fixed now. Please do point out any other errors you see. :)
I'm the mean guy who won't let mormegil tell you everything, it's totally my fault :( Putting together a journal post that I hope you guys will like though, so that's something! Hopefully that should go up tomorrow.
Thanks chuck1es, I'll get these taken care of.
We'll have the rules for what exactly is and isn't permissible in star names when we're ready to take Elite Founders' star names. Sadly, Xiasdick will probably not make the cut. :( e: I do actually work here, promise! Bugging the forum guys now to get my fancy Stardock logo under my doofy face. e2: Woo, I'm official! I feel so honored.
Stardock Entertainment VP Derek Paxton (or Kael, as you may know him) has strong feelings about the practice of game studios forcing massive overtime on their employees to meet milestones and deadlines. He spoke to Gameranx.com in the wake of the controversial #RyseFacts conversation on Twitter.
Lead Designer Paul Boyer answered a pile of questions about Galactic Civilizations III. Want to learn more about random events, Stardock's development philosophies, and multiplayer? Check the interview out here.
FWIW, Stardock stands by its policy that we will make our games available to anyone who bought them if anything happens to Valve or Steam. For that matter, Valve has long said that if it has to shut Steam down for any reason, people who own Steam games will be taken care of. I understand the reluctance some people have regarding Steam, but those reassurances are all I can give you right now. Really though, our job is to make the game so irresistible that even the hardest-core
Asynchronous play is pretty much a no-brainer, isn't it? You definitely won't have to finish a game in one sitting.
We’re far from finished with Galactic Civilizations III, but we are thrilled to start sharing what the team has been hard at work on. You’ll have to forgive us for being a little cryptic about gameplay specifics that are still in development yet, but we hope you find the trailer an acceptable peace offering. The whole point of Galactic Civilizations III is to live up to what our fans are hoping for without screwing up the
We should totally run a sale on all three. And I'll bring up OMD2 (what a great game in general, let's be honest here) as an example of well-done DLC, good call there.
Awesome. Thank you very much!
So Impulse decided that my default login name for Demigod should be my full real name. Not being a big fan of that, I change my impulse logon via the forums to the nick I'm using now. Unfortunately, Demigod still uses my full real name as my nick in-game. Help?
