Update: This issue just happened after waking from sleep. I closed one of the apps were the taskbar icon was pointing to the wrong app and that fixed the other ones.
If I close all additional windows when the app in the taskbar is grouped together, the issue does not present. But it comes back the moment I have more than 1 window from the same app open again (unless I restart - then th
If you open and then close a say notepad window, does the problem stop happening or does it continue to happen? Likewise if you resize the taskbar to two rows and back to one?
I know resizing the taskbar doesn't work for me, I tried it before. I'll let you know about the notepad. Of course just now, I did a reboot of my PC, put the PC to sleep. woke it to test what you asked, an

I know it went to the devs to look into, but just updating what behavior I noticed in case it helps. Doesn't only happen with Chrome or browsers either - anything that has multiple windows or tabs open does this "open the one to the right" offset after resuming from Sleep. I had network settings open for Windows (the old one from Control Panel, not the new Settings one with Windows 11). I was editing editing properties of my NIC. I went and looked something u

Hi, I have been using Start11 for a little while. I recently updated to 1.24. - I set the taskbar to the aligned to the left side of the screen, like it was in Windows 10 and earlier. - I don't have a lot of shortcuts on my taskbar - literally the file explorer, chrome, calculator and Authy. - If I have multiple Chrome windows open or tabs, as tends to happen, and I click on the Chrome shortcut again to try and open or expand the current Chrom

Never posted before (but a longtime member!). But I have to! Holy cow these ship designs are absolutely fantastic! MrStarTrek - I'm a huge fan of your designs - stunning (guess it helps I'm also a Star Trek fan)! I can't wait for the steam workshop and I hope you publish them. Hamilmac - those are also very cool ships - I love dragons! I wish I could name everyone I thought was so cool, but there are just so many. You guy

Reaver is right about the Civ4 and its expansion. Here in Canada, a store is selling both the game and the expansion pack at $29.99 each. Normal life-cycle of a product stuff.

I think his problem was actually giving his info to the stardock account as well as the CD-Key. I don't know. Personally, you can put almost anything into the info for Stardocks account and they'll never really know. But I guess some people get a little paranoid about their personal information. In a day and age where your own government attempts to spy on its citizens in the name of finding people who might do harm to you or it, I don't blame him. But then, this does seem a little extreme

My annoyance posts are the people who always seem to claim the AI is cheating. I am not sure what else the developers can do to prove it isn't, besides posting the entire code, lol. Which probably won't help since 90% wouldn't know how to read it anyway.

Why do folks even respond to this? Just let the post go into obscurity and disappear. Not that I am helping, but it irks me when a thousand people respond to one person who is obviously not really playing the game or giving any constructive criticism. Just makes them sit back and laugh at you, while you get more frustrated at another idiot posting an inflammatory post.

I wonder what type of Motherboard Reapy has. His system sounds just about identical to mine. An ATI 9800 Pro, check. 1 gig of RAM, check. AMD64 3200 proc, check. My game is as stable as I can ask it to be (ie, I can play all evening long, and not get a crash). In fact, I updated my video drivers before installing the game (i tend to make that common practice anyway, but a lot of people do not), and have the game on my main machine and on my toshiba laptop, and no problems of crashing have

Been playing my games on Normal (well, 2 games on Normal so far) and I have been out-teching the AI most of the game, save for a few weeks here and there. Usually I find I fall behind researching something that takes a while to discover, and when I find it, my tech goes up again and surpasses the AI as I research the less costly ones of interest to me. And I am a stingy bastard. I won't trade unless necessary to the major races unless its an old tech. I will trade with the minor on

I'm not sure how Stardock is able to rectify this for DAnderson. I see his point, but then I see the unreasonable demand from him that they have to fix this right away and that if it wasn't done yesterday then its too late for him and he now hates the company. Living in Canada, I always have to account for a day or two more then the stated release date of a game. Its like that for every game for us. It has to cross a border, get through customs, etc etc, in order for it to get to t

Careful, not quite half. Its the square-root of the value. So, if you have a value of 9 defence on shields, and your being attacked by mass drivers, your defence is 3 against the drivers...which isn't half (just happens the square-root of 4 is 2, which can be deceiving). And yes, your right. Defence would be 9 against lasers.

Yea, I was playing one game and found three of them in the span of about 12 -15 turns. Game was on beginner difficulty, me playing as the Terrans and in a small galaxy. I did pick lucky as one of my traits, but it sounds like this was a little TOO lucky
