JMBdev... I like what you did with the UI for the minimize effect... much clearer now. With my settings as shown here... I still have a problem with Excel or Powerpoint 2007 icons. If I only have one instance of either Excel or Powerpoint open... no problems. As soon as I open a second instance of either one, even with neither instance minimized... I get two icons as shown below in the dock... <

One other thing I've noticed... for whatever reason, MS Project 2003 refuses to use the OD animation even though other applications do. It insist on using the Vista animation.

Thanks for the screenshot, yeah thats wierd behavior...can I ask, are any of the above running as administrator? Here are the properties for the excel shortcut I used to launch excel where the icons were all screwed up. Note that run as administrator is not selected or enabled. Could the screwed up icons be somewhat related to my problem above where I had all

virtualrain: also, there's a note when you click it in the next refresh and the option grays out... if you have "always show thumbnails" clicked, there is no minimize animation as the image for the window is already being used as the thumbnail on the icon itself. Ok, I unchecked "always show windows as thumbnails (Vista only)" and the animations worked as expected. That's great! But then why is this option even there? With my settings as sho

More strangeness with minimized apps: I have "Always show windows as thumbnails" checked in Vista and show minimized windows on the dock (only). Here is my dock (with minimized apps shown right of the last separator): Here is what was running at the time and the window state: - Two instances of Excel 2007 (not minimized) - IE 7 (not minimized) - Outlook 2007 (not minimized) -

1) I see there is a new feature called "Use minimize animation in Vista". What is this supposed to do exactly? Turning it on or off has no effect. I still get the same old Vista minimize animation which appears to be minimizing it to the next free position on the (hidden) taskbar. I presume this feature is supposed to replace the default Vista animation with one that actually minimizes it with animation to its position on the dock?

I installed OD 1.5 Plus on Vista and noticed it only uses the crappy icon/image associations it is preloaded with. WHY!!!!!!?????? Vista has beautiful icons but I can't use any of them on the dock! Not only that, but I can't even change the icons of dock items to use the default application or system icons as it only works with image files... WTF? Is there some trick I'm not aware of? If not, this is the most terrible shortcoming of this program. It loo

Hi, is there a way to only show the running tasks from the monitor on which the dock is running? If not, this would be a great future enhancement for multiple monitor users. It would also be nice to have an option to display all apps with a thumbnail and small icon rather than just minimized apps. I also notice that this feature (thumbnail view for minimized apps) does not work consistently. Finally, allowing grouping for some applications and not others would be

When using the dock to show running programs... Often I will notice that one of my minimized programs on the dock has lost it's thumbnail representation and is now just a normal icon. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there something that can be done to minimize this issue (pun intended). Update: Actually, I've determined that any minimized applications will lose their thumbnail and revert to a normal icon representation if I close any program

I don't know how best to submit a feature request but if anyone here knows, please share. The request I would like to make is an additional option for the "Show Running Tasks on the Dock" to only display those tasks that are running on the same monitor as the dock. This way, you could have a dock running on each monitor only showing the tasks on that monitor. I can't imagine this would be hard to do.

How do you make a shortcut to My Network Places? If you use C:\documents and settings\user\nethood\ you don't get the folder tasks normally associated with My Network Places for adding a new network place, viewing network connections, etc.

I have OD+ 1.3 and I've got a single non tabbed dock sitting at the bottom of my screen. Often it appears to bump up and float above the bottom of the screen about the same hieght as a normal Windows task bar... it's like it thinks its getting bumped up by the task bar. I have the Windows task bar hidden option enabled. Is this a common bug or something unique to my system? Anyone else had this issue and solved it or understand what is causing it?<
