Its not that they dont do anything with them.. its that they cant. I noticed that when the ships are ejected from my planets, on the next turn the AI formed them into fleets.. but they couldnt move them because this bug keeps the ships movements at zero, turn after turn.

The Paulos, a minor race, are being attacked by the arrogant Terran Alliance. Having most of their trade either going to or coming from the Paulos, and not wanting to directly attack the humans, the Covenant send the Paulos 8 fighters and 8 capitol ships, and funds to support their resistance. Thing is, upon transfer of the ships, which would no doubt turn the tide of war in the Paulos favor, all engines were mysteriously sabotaged and ren
PS2 guided missiles? LMFAO
Hahaa thats pretty funny. Good one, friend!
Okay it is still not working. Now instead of the message saying in the Start In box it now says that the Target Box is invalid. I dont get what Im doing wrong. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated
okay well I would show you a picture of my desktop right now and what Im trying to do but I cant figure out how. So I'll just try to explain it more thoroughly. I made a short cut of GalCiv2 that does not have the GC2Launch in the properties. I go to edit the properties just like Majuks said, without the qoutation marks and one space between exe. and cheat, and every time I try to apply it I get a message that says: The folder 'C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2
I cant get the cheat mode to work. I try adding cheat after the qoutes, but it either does nothing at all (no cheats available in game) or it tells me it is invalid and that it cannot be found in the start box or something along those lines. There is only one file that I am actually able to even edit and that is on my desktop. The ones in the folders dont even allow me to add any sort of text.
thank you
how do I enable cheats? I searched and came up with nothing
Thanks Crustacean, that link you gave me provided me with a very useful tip that I employed upon my smart ass computer, and now I am downloading GC2 via SDC as we speak. I had to go into safe mode, log onto the admin account, and reset the password for my main User account that I forgot the password to. Again, thank you
Yes, I got it. But now I have a much bigger problem. A much... much.. bigger problem -_- Im currently on a limited user account on my computer, because I forgot the password to my main admin account. I cant install Stardock Central because I dont have the permission to. Hahahahaaha Im going to die -_- Oh, and yea, that link still doesnt work for me, but another one did that he posted in a different forum. Hah, I got it now, but it was weird
OMG THE LINK WORKED! *kisses Fluke's feet*
Im just prettty pissed off right now. I paid for the game.. I set up a Stardock.net account so that I can download Stardock Central.. and for some unknown reason the page cannot be found whever I try to download the program. If anyone can help me ASAP, that would be great
Yea... it says page cannot be displayed.
I go to download stardock central so that I can finally download and play GC2 and say goodbye to my social life and I go to download Stardock Central and the internet explorer says Page Cannot be Displayed! What do I do!?!?
If both sides are entirely wiped out the planet should lose any allignment it has with any civilization. If every one on the planet is dead, then no body controlls it. So really, you're now looking at a race to get a colonization ship (or possibly troop transport) to the planet before the other civ does.
That's it... I'm modding in an icon that changes all the morale resources to tubes of Colgate. LMFAO! Nice one
Wow... its amazing how a race of sentient squirrels can take on one of the major races in the galaxy like that. The Snathi are by far the best race out of any of the civilizations. I would probably kill most other minors, but how can you kill off a cute little species like the Snathi?
Just pay off another civ to go to war with who ever is creepin in your hood, send some ships to their bases, and then sell/give the ships to the civ you paid to go to war with them
Yea.. but still, I do like the idea of taking over starbases. Im sure if stardock put their minds to it, they could have it done very smoothly. Its just a matter of figuring out how many people would actually enjoy this feature, and if it would add to the overall fun factor of the game. So lets get the votes and ideas for this rolling in people I would love to see this feature in GC2
Seconded that
Just glorify research vessels and experienced ships.
I also have no planets with lights. Infact, the only time I have seen a planet that has visible lights coming from the surface was in the one screen shot in the Dev journals. FIX IT OR FEAR MY WRAITH!
Encyclopedia Galactica! I seconded that one one one one one zero zero one zero one zero sorry.. loosing some of my sanity as I cannot play the game yet. I dont know how much longer I can go on like this...
